I went to this used tire place looking for 4 tires that were 265/60r18. He told me he had 2 sets one for 500 and one for 250. I agreed when he dropped the price to 225 for the set of 4 265/60r18. After putting them on and driving around for a couple days my car felt weird. I was checking them out and I noticed they sold me the wrong size. We agreed to 265/60r18 but instead he put 245/60r18 on my suv. I went back explaining how I have the wrong size on my car and I was immediately talked down to and was being told I said the wrong tires and I should of checked. The one guy was drinking and blaming me for the mistake. After explaining to one of the people what's happened he said he will take my tires and put the ones I agreed to for an extra $200. I declined due to already paying for that size and not getting what i already paid for. The guy who put them on agreed that I went in looking for a 265/60r18 then changed and saying I was looking for a smaller tire then stock on my suv (doesnt even make sense since they showed me the 265/60r18 first for 500). I don't understand how I went to this business looking for a service and didn't get what I needed, then being blamed for it being my fault. I just think of all the other people they got with this tactic by putting unsafe cheaper smaller tires on cars that don't even realize it. It's dangerous, irresponsible and a complete rip-off.
