I called ******** ******* for a home improvement project. ******** ******* recommended Lightpoint Design. I contacted Lightpoint Design and provided some of the specifications they requested. Several days went by before they responded. The failure of a prompt response made think that perhaps Lightpoint Design was not a good choice. They did finally respond and requested a time to send a contractor (?) to our home to for measurements and assessment of the project. I took off work to be there for the meeting. The contractor arrived 20 minutes late. When he arrived I told him we were done I would not be doing business with Lightpoint Design. The contractor then call me an (a*****e) he was rude and nasty. In truth I responded with the same vulgar comment as now I was really angry. The contractor then walked around his truck pointed to company name on his truck and said he didn't care he did not work for Lightpoint Design any way. I emailed and reported this to Lightpoint Design. Their director called me and instead of responding appropriately to an outrageous response by their contractor. Their director wanted to argue with me about what really happen and how their contractor's explanation was different. I hung up after it was clear Lightpoint design just wanted to argue not address the outrageous nature of the incident. I have had multiple home improvement contractors complete work for us in Ellicott City, I have never dealt with this level of disrespect and rudeness by any business. I was truly astonished. It was hard for me to believe that any legitimate business would conduct themselves in such and outrageous way. I will also send this report to ******** ******* and question their recommendation of Lightpoint Design.

Mr. L*****; As I expressed in both our phone conversations and emails, I apologize for the delay in responding to your initial email, as well as for the inconvenience caused by our project manager's 25 minute delay to the appointment. He was unavoidably delayed in traffic. Additionally, I regret not being able to inform you about his delay as I was in a meeting at that time. While we may have a difference of opinion on the events that followed, I want to clarify that I called my project manager at 9:24 am, and he informed me that he was on your street but running late. Our conversation lasted 55 seconds as he arrived at your home. It is important to note that he did not enter your property as per your request, and at 9:26 am, he called me back to update me on the situation and inform me that he was leaving. During my conversation with you, I acknowledged that we failed to meet our usual standards of timely communication and punctuality. I sincerely apologize for this and extend my best wishes for the success of your project.
