Four missed or late appointments without communication received. Asked 1/3 of project payment upfront as well. Checked reviews on ********, and not at all consistent with an A+ company. The estimater requested a deposit check made out to self and to Lori (his wife?). He hung up the phone when I asked for a return of the deposit money under Maryland remorse laws within 5 days of contract signing. I request your help in returning the $6,000 in deposit money for work not started.Business response

We signed a contract on Monday April 24th. We scheduled to start the work on Wednesday April 26th. On Wednesday the weather was calling for rain & severe thunderstorms . We called the homeowner & texted him to let him know we will be starting on Thursday April 27th . We could not reach him . Actually it has rained for the entire week .The morning of April 27th he cancelled the job.
I spoke to him at 9:40 am on April 27th & told him I have no problem with his cancellation & after I contact the bank & see that the deposit check has cleared , I will send him a refund check. in the mail . The same day I spoke to him , he contacted you about his refund. There was no need to contact you . The refund process takes more than 1 day. Today is May 1st his check will be processed today. There is no reason that I could not be reached all business calls go directly to my cell number ,so that I do not miss any calls. Our email, office number is printed on our contracts & brochures. Thank you
