Professional, thorough, and honest. We got an appointment right away, even though we scheduled on the weekend. Derick was even early for the appointment! I give my highest recommendation.

John was incredible! Extremely personable, knowledgeable and a great teacher. He was able to not only point out issues in our new home but give solutions how we could go about fixing them ourselves, or with the help of a professional. He made us feel more at ease with the purchase of our new home. This is really a fantastic company who spends the time to take care of its customers. Again, John was incredible and tool the time to explain every inch of the house to us. The report was top notch, it was great to see that it was easy to read with photos at every occurrence. Overall the best inspection experience I've ever had. Both my husband and I walked away feeling like we knew exactly what to fix with the home with our new knowledge. Also the fact that John is a firefighter reassured us that he was really looking out for our safety and well being. We thank and applaud Kate for her detailed and clear explanation of our problem. In having this valuable information we were able to avoid a BIG expensive mistake in hiring for repairs. My husband and I are purchasing our first home. Our Agent provided us with a list of Inspection companies they use and we chose LodeStar, which was the BEST decision we have made so far in this process. Derick W***, our inspector was extremely thorough with the inspection and spent a considerable amount of time explaining his findings, which unfortunately led us to pull our offer. While the results of the inspection were not what we envisioned, they helped us make the best decision for us! I could not be more pleased with LodeStar and Derick W***. We are continuing our search and when we find a new home, we will be contacting LodeStar and requesting Derick again.LodeStar Inspection Services Response
