2022 VW Atlas Cross Sport SE V6 4motion. Date of transaction: Jan 28, 2023. Price: $38750 + tax and fees. At: at VW of Fallston, MD 21047 The dealer did not disclose that some standard features were not installed by manufacture due to chip shortage, including Blind Spot Monitor, power lift gate (standard on SE trim), and heated side mirrors (standard on all trims), did not show me the Monroney Label (window sticker) before delivered the car, until I found it in the glove box. On the way home I found blind spot monitor was not working, I tried to activate it but did not find the options in the menu. Then I searched online and found the news that VW may not install them due to chip shortage. And I found the window sticker in the glove box showing these features were not installed. These features are very important for my wife's driving and that's why I chose SE trim. I did not know this issue because I don't work in automobile industry. The dealer should have disclosed it to me but they do not. The "not installed" information is listed under "packages and options", with "credit issued" and negative price. It's not easy to be noticed.Business response

I traded in my 2017 ****** Altima on October 7, 2022 for a 2023 Volkswagen Taos in Maryland. I have had numerous issues with this dealship staring about 3 weeks after getting the vehicle. First, hastle of getting my registration and license plate for the new vehicle. Keep in mind I am out of state. Before I went down I asked if it was going to be an issue with having my ex on my registration and I was informed no. Then it was shortly after purchasing. The sales rep Hunter completely stopped responding to me through text on this issue. October 27, 2022 was the last correspondence regarding the registration which I did not receive a response but assumed something was fixed. I then asked on November 23, 2022 about this which I was told this was still an issue but did not hear back. Finally got that situated on January 12, 2023. I brought up in previous conversations about my credit being impacted due to my previous vehicle still being under my name. The payoff amount on 10/7/22 when traded in was $15,874.63 for the Nissan. I was informed by the dealer the payoff was never sent until 12/30/22 to ******** ****** ***** for my previous car. I have asked why and still have received an answer as that is almost 3 months after the purchase of the new vehicle. So this entire time I had the ****** loan attached to me which marked against me on my credit for missed payments, late fees, and interest. I spoke with a rep from ******** ****** ***** on 1/23/23. He informed me they never received a payoff. Because of this issue, it also added $2,100 to the previous car loan for no insurance on the vehicle as I switched it to the new vehicle when purchased. Now the new 10-day payoff for the ****** on 1/23/23 is $18,830.11. I spoke with the dealer to let them know the increase and why on 1/23/23. I told them I needed the new payoff sent asap to the previous loan to remove this vehicle from my name. I called today and messaged and have received 0 responses. On 12/3/22, 32 points was docked against my credit. On 1/10/23, 16 points was docked against my credit. This is all because of my old car still under my name. I refuse to pay the additional costs added to the previous car loan due to the dealerships own doing. I need the payoff sent to ******** ****** ***** asap for the amount stated above and I need my credit to resolved with the removal of these points since I have not had the ****** in my possession since 10/7/23. Attached is the document of when I traded it in and for what and the original payoff on that date. If you need text messages, I have plenty of those as well.Business response
