I was a resident at Surrey Square, Apartments for round 10 years. I was never late with my rent and I never had any Negative financial issues with this company. I moved out of the apartment complex in 2016. When I left the apartment I also gave them my forwarding address because I knew they would get up with me regarding my security deposit. Well the years went by I kept waiting but getting no response or information about the refunding of my security deposit. I did speak about this to the department managers or one of the managers and he told me that I had been there over 10 years and that my security deposit had earned quite a bit of interest. So, I excepted that and went on my merry way to enjoy my new home. Now to this day I have tried twice to get information about this from the management. All I got was will call you back and let you know, which never happened. So I am aware of that the security deposit is refundable at least that’s what I am told, so I would like to know what Wass the disposition behind this security deposit that I made for this apartment over 10 years ago. At least they owe me an explanation about what happened to the security deposit or what did to not be refunded this security deposit? I think that is at least respectful of my time spent there over the past 10 years that I was there. The second phone call I made to them I told them that if I did not hear anything from them about this in the near future, I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau about this, this seem to not phase Them into action as I have not heard a peep out of them after that last phone call. I wonder if they have something to hide, or if I have done something to disqualify me from receiving my security deposit!
