On Jan 26 I paid Brick street $815.61 to replace a water heater and install new plumbing connections, 23 gallon tank extender, and pan at **********, Taneytown Md 21787. I don't live at that address and there is a lockbox. I spoke to Shiloh at 681-******** on the 27th because she had not emailed the receipt she had promised. She said she would do it that day. I have made numerous calls and texts to her since then with no replay and no receipt. I want confirmation that they did all the work promised and a written receipt. I also called their main numbers (240) 650-9666 and 301-969-4911 several times. I cannot reach a person and have left messages with no reply.Initial Complaint

In March 2021, this company was sent to my home by a Home Warranty Company I have a contract with. The issue was a sewage stoppage in my basement bathroom. The plumber fixed the stoppage. He told me to wait a couple of days and call Warranty Company to report water leaking from my toilet. He said reason being the toilet flange is cracked and he wasn't sent to fix that. He said he was not going to secure the toilet back to the floor. When he left the toilet was not secure and I noticed he had chipped corner tile at toilet site. I did as he told me and called the Home Warranty who sent Brick Street Plumbing again (not at my request). A different plumber was sent. He told me the toilet flange was cracked and he will return the next day with proper tools and perhaps new toilet. He did not mount the toilet to the floor expecting to return the next day, He never returned. I made multiple calls to the Home Warranty to fix this situation to no avail. One of their phone representatives read from notes stating Brick Street told them I must have been rocking back and forth on the toilet for the flange to break. I called the Home Warranty on Nov 15 for a sewage stoppage again. They assigned Brick Street Plumbing. I've kept accepting appointments with Brick Street in hopes they would fix what their employee broke before I terminated my contract. Brick Street made 3 appointments this time because each time, no one showed up at my home. Each time it was a no call no show. I then insisted the Home Warranty send another company. I'm thinking Brick Street realizes they're at fault which is why theyu give me the run-around. I need to also report this Home Warranty Company and I will.. I had another sewage stoppage recently and dared them to send Brick Street. I want to terminate my contract with the Home Warranty Company which I have had for 5 years.Business response

If the claim is turned down by the warranty company This would have nothing to do with us. We report to the warranty company what is found. The claim coverage is based on coverage that is paid for by the client. If it's not covered we don't work on it unless clients is willing to pay outside of their warranty. We don't make the rules and we don't decide what is covered. That is all on the warranty company. This is between the warranty company and the client.
