Airtron installed a mini-split on a new home construction we purchased in 2019 in Baltimore from *********. After 1 year, I had to call them back out to inspect the faulty system as it wasn't working and they supposedly "fixed the previously too-tightened connections". Fast-forward to May2022 when our mini-split is no longer working at all and just blows hot air. I called Airtron for help and they told me I was out of warranty. Fine, I had another HVAC company come out to service the unit but they ended up having to walk away after hours working on the unit because...get this...Airtron installed an indoor and outdoor unit that were not matched! That is they were never meant to go together. What kind of insanity is that? Furthermore, even though they came out to fix this exact same issue at my neighbor's house (attached new townhouse) they just decided that they are "no longer servicing our area" and are leaving us high and dry. The customer service agents there (Dottie in particular) have been helpful but there is NO service that is attentive to the customer above them. I was not given the name of the "Corporate VP" who made this decision. Imagine you buy a new house and the HVAC company that "installed" the units for you doesn't even own up to fixing their sham of an install. That's a company that doesn't care about being in business for long in my book. Sharing this with the world and it's extremely unjust and in my opinion inappropriate. Attached are the photos of the mismatched units. All they had to do was own up to it and come out to do the right thing (replace and reinstall a working unit). Shame on you, Airtron.
