******* **** ***** assigned this business to replace our water heater, which was installed by the previous owner. Liberty Home Guard said that, because the WH was still under manufacturer warranty, we would need to go through the manufacturer to get a replacement, but they would help us some with the installation. We did this, and provided Three j with a code to get a replacement water heater. They could not figure out how to do that, so we had to pay $800 for a new water heater and installation. Three J incorrectly and dangerously installed the water heater (that they told us to order), saying it was the wrong size. They broke our in-line sediment filter, which resulted in water spraying all over our basement. They incorrectly installed the vent hood for the water heater, and in the process damaged our exhaust from our furnace. They charged us for a completed job. When we went back to the house, we realized the water was turned off. When we turned it on water was spraying uncontrollably from the sediment filter they broke, and it was clear this would not pass a home inspection. They have refused to come back to fix it.

      Dear *** *****,

******* **** ***** hired us to firstly, diagnose your original water heater and then install a new water heater once it was deemed it needed to be replaced.
The original diagnosis noted on the work order called in by you was that it was leaking from the top.
The water heater was still under manufacturer's warranty and was up to you, the homeowner to contact the manufacturer to arrange a replacement. We spoke with the manufacturer and were told that the customer would need to provide proof of purchase and that the customer, you, would have to contact them.
You told us that the water heater was in the home when you purchased it, the onus according to the manufacturer, again was for you to gain and provide proof purchase. This was not for Three Js to do.

All we are hired to do by *** is to diagnose, repair or install.
If you had to purchase a new water heater that is between you and your warranty company. Three J's is not responsible for this.

When we were given instruction to install the new water heater, which we did not know was one you had purchased, we were under the impression that this was provided by the manufacturer to you.

The technicians arrived to install the water heater. They found the water was turned off and they were not able to turn the water on. They installed the water heater in the exact same position as the one that they removed.

We do not know if the damage was caused prior to the technician installing the water heater as the water was off. When the leaking was reported to us, we sent a technician out to repair the leak.
The realtor at the property who met the technician did not want us to do any repair but wanted pipes to be re-routed. We were perfectly willing to do the repair when we were there that day but were instructed by your realtor not to do this.
As far as the rerouting of the pipes, this was not in the work order that we had from ***.

We work directly for ******* and upon agreement with them only the work is performed that they authorize us to do if it is in our purview.
We notified *** of everything that had occurred, and your complaint and we told them that we do not reroute pipes. It was up to you and *** to find another contractor to perform this task.

We take full responsibility for all work that we, Three Js company, perform. We did not sign an agreement with you but with ***.
We work for many warranty companies and when things don't go right, issues are not fixed or repaired, or units are not replaced the customer looks to us to blame.

      Sincerely

      Three J’s Company.

I was transferred to the company by my good for nothing home warranty company call select home warranty. My ********* side by side door refrigerator was not working well, I put in a ticket with my warranty company who has a contract with 3 js. The tech came in and diagnosed the fridge, stated i will need to replace the gasket and the domper . My warranty company only agree to cover the domper but will not cover the gasket. I decided to allow 3js company to fix both the gasket and domper. The gasket was going to be replaced for approximately $ 250. technician came in with the wrong gasket on two prior occasions causing me to missed work. The last technician finally came in with the right size of gasket for my refrigerator. 3js technician removed my refrigerator old gasket, his about to replace the new gasket, that when he realized he had made a mistake, he probably should not have removed the old gasket, because he simply cannot replaced the new one. 3 js technician tried to put back the old gasket as it was. He was becoming frustrated so he started using profanity in front of my 2year son. He was cursing several times while trying to put back my old refrigerator gasket. He finally decided he would let his company know to replace the door. 3 js company refused to replace my refrigerator door as his technician suggested. Instead they want to refund the 50% I had put down before the work started, and not fixed my refrigerator door which they destroyed. In the main time my food is perishing, I cant cool my baby food. I asked 3js to replace the refrigerator door they are not picking up my calls. I have been going now 3 weeks with out a working refrigerator. All of this happened in February of 2022

I submitted a service ticket with my home warranty company (**** Home Warranty) because my dishwasher was leaking on or about 11/21/21, Three J's Company was assigned to my request. They came out on or about 11/29/21, I paid $100 service fee, one part was fixed and another leak was found, they needed to order more parts and resubmit the ticket, and now I have been waiting for over a month for an answer and they have provided none. No update, no estimated fix date, NOTHING. I have not had a working dishwasher for 54 days now and every time I call Three J's Company I am told a supervisor will reach out to me with an update (5 times) and again no one has called me back and told me anything.
