I had a new TPO roof installed by Ayden Construction on March 29, 2022. My contract with Ayden shows a 30 year product warranty, the generic manufacturer’s warranty information that I received shows that I only have a 20 year warranty for the membrane material that was installed, and I have a text from the Owner of Ayden that says I have a 50 year product warranty. I have written and called Ayden several times stating that I am confused as to what my product warranty actually is and that I need to get it clarified/straightened out in writing from the product manufacturer, not simply a text. He keeps telling me that he’s busy but will get it straightened out in the next day or two and I have yet to hear back from him on this issue. It appears to me that this very simple issue isn’t going to get resolved without some outside intervention.

Hi,
We came to an agreement with *********************************** attached we have a signed letter as well to our new agreement due to the inconvenience of the roofing manufacture.
We were not conscious that the warranty was 20 years instead of 30 years. After manufacture explain to us that tpo roofing warranty is completely different as the regular roofing material warranty.
What have been in contact we both parties; manufacture and ************************, our delay to respond was due to the manufacture wait response of the matter.
As a courtesy we extended our labor warranty instead of two years warranty we extended and did five year warranty (labor only). Also, we will come home roofing after a year, make sure that material that was placed and is fasten and no damage has occurred.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Ayden Construction a few weeks ago, Case #********. I am sending this email to inform you that due to your efforts the contractor has contacted me and resolved the issue. No further action regarding this complaint is required.
Is there any other notification that I need to make?
