      I rented two tables and chairs from this bussines. When I returned it them, the tables had a dent. A representative called me to let me know that I had to pay for the tables because of the dents. Which I did, I paid $140. They told come and get the tables, they are yours now. I said, I will, but I don't have a big car can you hold them for me. The person said yes come whenever you can. I called two weeks ago to check if they still had the tables, they said yes. Finally, I was able to pick them up, but when my husband went there an employee told him that they had trow them away. My husband called me, and put me on the phone with the person in charge.I asked why they didn't notify me, they belonged to me. She said I understand but we did an inventory and throw them away, we can't keep it for too long. I asked why they didn't notify me about that just like they did the first time. The employee said is not our job to let you know, we told you the first time. I understand they can't keep it for a long time, but there was no mention in the contract nor they told me that I had a limited time to pick up the tables.1. I asked for a refund since they throw the tables. They refused to.2. They should had notified me 3. I asked to replace the tables, they said no.4. Not an apology, the employee was entitled and with an attitude.5. They should make the customers aware that after a certain time, if items are not picked up, they will be thrown away.

      The client *************************** reached out to us for a rental back in July, between the dates of the 9th- 11th of 2022. That Monday when ********************'s husband dropped off the tables they did not tell us that the tables were damaged until we reached out back to them to inform them of the damages. She agreed and paid for the damages as well we did let her know that the tables needed to be picked up as soon as possible. Not once did she tell us to hold them for her but we did store them.  We gave them calls, which they answered stating they were going to pick them up within the days the calls were placed.  We disposed of the tables about Two months later since no one had contacted us back about them or came for them. They did not reach back out to us about the tables over a four-month period until they came in demanding the tables back in November. The employee who helped ******************** let him know that we no longer had the tables. ******************** called his wife to let her know what was happening. At some point, ********************* told her husband to give his phone over to the employee. From there the same employee let her know what happened to the tables since it wasnt picked up back in July. The employee told us that she began to yell and disrespected the employee over the phone which made her uncomfortable but ********************* kept demanding that the phone gets passed back to the employee. On the behave of RB Party Decorations LLC, we do apologize for any behavior that was misinterpreted back to the client. Clients are told to pick up items before our closing time, if not we open at 10 AM the next day. We are not a storage unit, as well we are not responsible for any leftover items after clients have been advised to pick them up.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      This does not solve the problem, not even an apology. My issue is that several times, i was told that I could pick up the tables at any time. I had called a week before and again, I was told that it was okay to pick up the tables at any time. And all of the sudden they did an inventory and throw the tables. The tables were not damaged when I loaded them in the car. I asked my husband and he said it must had happened on the way. The tables had a dent, they were not broken. I agree to pay for the two tables, at not time I argued with them. I personally don't believe that i was disrespectful. All i said to the employee was that i wanted to speak with the manager, she said, he is busy and stated that she was the daughter of the owner/manager. So I told her, please tell the owner that they should tell the clients that there is a limited time to pick up the tables and as a business it will be better to include that in the contract. I have never had an issue any business, as I'm not a problematic person, but the attitude and entitlement really upset me. The employee at no time was apologetic, instead she keep blaming me, saying that they are not storage,and I understood and acknowledged my mistake. But the situation could have handled in a better way. This does not resolve my complaint.
