I hired Precision Industries to install a sump pump and French drain for my pool. I was verbally quoted an estimate of $8,000, to $12,000, for the repair, and I paid $12,940., see attached cancelled checks. During the installation of the sump pump pit, Mr. ******'s employees nicked wires to my heat pump. When I found the heat pump was not working, I call ****** to service the HVAC since the heat pump had been installed a few months prior and was under warranty. The HVAC company said nothing was wrong with it and to call an electrician. When I called the original electrician, he tested inside the house and took the sub panel apart and all was working. The electrician said to call the company who installed the sump pit that they had likely nicked the wire. Mr. Andrew ********** of Precision Industries came out and dug around the sump pit and stopped when he found a nicked wire that the crew had electrical tape on. Mr. ******, CEO said he would not pay the initial estimate from my electrician and said he would send his electrician. I emailed, called and texted Mr. ****** several times but he would not schedule the repair or give me the name of his electrician for me to verify the license. See attached emails. I called the original electrician who found multiple pieces of wire hit and one the was cut in half and left live in the pit. The electrician said he could not guarantee that I would not have issues in the future which may require the yard to be dug up again and additional repairs unless he replaced the wire. So the electrician replaced the wire at a cost of $3,300. See attached invoice and photos. I filed a small claim in the District Court of Maryland on November 16, 2023, and paid the $44.00, fee for notification to Mr. ****** via certified mail. The tentative court date in February 2024, was cancelled by the court since Mr. ****** ducked the notice. On January 17, 2024, I filed a summons renewal at a cost of $65,00, to have a constable serve notice. Again Mr. ****** ducked the summons. Mr. ******'s company cost me $3,409, which included court cost.
