Date: Jan 29th, 2022 Amount Paid for Service: Order Total $955.67 Business Commitment: Install a new Washer Nature of Dispute: Forward Air is not paying enough to repair damage to my property and has ignored multiple email requests. Home Depot Order Number ************ Claim #************ The (2) Forward Air technicians and I were in my laundry room. They just finished attaching the hoses from the new washer to the valves under my laundry room sink. As one of the technicians was getting up off the ground, he pulled himself up by holding on to my plastic sink's front. We all then heard a loud crack. He had a piece of the sink in his hand and proceeded to apologize for the damage. At that point, the other technician began taking photographs to document the damage for his company. The damage took place Jan 29th. Forward Air offered $100 for the replacement of the sink. Upon stating that would not cover the costs, Forward Air asked for a written estimate. Home Depot provided and estimate for the work $455.99, which was given to Forward Air. Forward Air offered $250, but this also will not cover the costs of the sink they damaged.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 15, 2022/04/06) */ After receiving the customer's claim on 02/03/22 we proceeded to investigate the claim upon which we accepted the liability. We looked in the Home Depot website and picked the most expensive plastic drain sink which was around $89 and offered the customer $100. The customer then brought to our attention that the sink needed to be installed and he provided an estimate for the sink and $350 for the labor to install the sink totaling $455.99. We felt that the labor was a bit high being that it was a drain sink and did not have any faucets, so we offered the customer $100 for the sink and $150 for the labor, totaling $250, which he agreed to. The customer seemed frustrated at that point but nevertheless, he agreed. I sent a settlement release to him which he signed and returned. On Monday April 4th I received an email from the customer saying that he did not receive his check yet. I told him to wait a day or two as his claim was closed 14 days ago. On Tuesday April 5th he emailed a confirmation that he received his check.
