Dental hygienist is working out of her scope of practice. I was told by the dentist that I need a mouth guard she comes in after him and tells me she’s diagnosing me with a disease. She then tells me I can’t get a cleaning unless I consent to a deep clean . I let her know my concerns and she literally tells me on the phone “ not my problem “. Wow inconsiderate and unprofessional she is cute running that facility like she is the dentist I will be reporting her to the BOARD OF DENTAL EXAMINERS. I want her illegal notes off my chart !!! And if you bill my insurance I will report it as fraud because no services were rendered she ended the call by hanging up on me . She also refused to give me her last name so I wouldn’t report her to the board what a criminal !Customer response

Yes I spoke with the board and they advised me a dental hygienist isn’t suppose to diagnose . I would like this employee reprimanded of I will put in a formal complaint with the boardBusiness response

In 2022 I went to Aspen for routine fillings, crowns, and wisdom teeth removal. I noticed I was being over charged for procedures that went over my insurance amount and was instructed by my insurance company to call and have claims sent to them to resolve this issue. It's been 11 months and claims for these procedures have failed to be submitted to my insurance company. Despite endless phone calls from myself and my insurance company. They will not respond to message left by myself or my insurance company. I'm always told claims are pending however my insurance has no record of any claims being submitted since 2021. I have been on 2 different 3 way calls with my insurance and Aspen to which we were told claims were pending. My insurance representative clarified all my information to make sure there was no mistakes with the submission, claims never showed up. I have a letter from my insurance stating they have tried to contact the office multiple times with no response. I have even gone into the office physically to request claims and the manager assured me he would take care of the issues and get my claims sent. No claims have shown up. I have called their customer service a number of times and requested my claims to submit myself and no claims have shown up. And now the office sends my calls straight to voice mail when I call.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: it has been 4 calendar days since recieving the response letter from Aspen. I still have not heard from the Glen Burnie office. I had to call myself in order to track down an update. They have told me my claims are still pending. However, my insurance still has no record of any claims being submitted by the Glen Burnie office. I was also told a ticket had been submitted for a refund back in July but I still have not received said refund or update on when I should expect to see my refund.

We are currently working with ****** ********* to get thewse claims processed. Last response from UCCI: "I did not recognize the mailgroup email database. I forwarded your message to our TDP inquiry area for research. I did not see the claims processed. Denise Thomas (she/her)"
