The contracting services from Petra were excellent. Our project manager Mark C***** was friendly, available, professional, and helpful. The various subcontractors that they arranged for our project (roofing, painting, flooring, and packing) were each excellent.The project actually took LESS time than we had anticipated and was done beautifully. Most of the project was related to damage to the house in a storm, and Petra worked very hard to secure insurance coverage from our homeowner’s insurance, applying for supplements when additional needs were discovered. We added a couple of extra small jobs of our own, ontop of the work to repair the damage and the subcontractors executed that beautifully as well. Prices were all reasonable and fair. We will return to the excellent contracting services of Petra for any future project in our home!

Petra and Dave H******* did a great job on our recent installation of a sidewalk to make access to our house easier for my handicapped husband. Dave made several suggestions and handled the job with promptness. We called Petra and Dave H******* because we had used them previously for a major project - a first floor bedroom and handicap bathroom. Dave handled the build expertly, with the least amount of disruption. The craftsman did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend them,

Dave H******* with Petra Contactors did an incredible job with rebuilding our home after we had a fire two years ago. It was an extensive project that needed the house almost entirely gutted and was complex due to the age of the home, but Dave did a great job with the property.

Petra expertly completed a major restoration project on our home. Dave is knowledgeable, patient and creative. He takes care to ensure the work is done with quality and ensures all subcontractors have the same respect for the client and project as he does. I’d entrust any project large, or small to Petra again.

A tree fell on my house and did extensive damage. I called my insurance company, and they advised me to contact a tree removal company, and they will come out later to inspect the damage!! Who to call to have a tree removed off the house (expert knowledge required), repair a damaged roof, a damaged sunroom, broken windows, rain coming through my bedroom ceiling, and how do I deal with the insurance company to ensure all damages are paid. Call Petra Contractors. Early the next morning, Keith H******, was at my home and from that day on he handled everything. The tree was off the house that morning, and my roof was covered so no more rain in my bedroom! Keith met with the insurance company and filed all the paperwork and ensured that all damages were covered. From that day on Keith H******, and Brad B******* contacted, and arranged to have the extensive damages repaired on my home. They always contacted me when the roof company, tree removal services, glass repairman and painters were going to come to my home. It is very overwhelming to have extensive damage done to your home, and not know who to call that would be trustworthy and honest. Keith H****** and Brad B******* managed all the repairs, all the paperwork, and ensured that I was happy with the repairs. Most of all, with their expert knowledge of the business, and their willingness to handle the challenge, resulted in my being comforted during this very emotional, and challenging time of my life. I have referred them to my friends, and family, knowing that they will be treated well and in a professional manner. They are the best in the business.

PETRA did a great job on our project, The floor in the laundry room looks great and the paint job in the powder room was great, as well.

Petra Contractors: We have used Petra Contractors for over 15 years. We first learned of the company when our insurance company recommended them for wind damage repair which the insurance company was going to cover. Petra has replaced damaged shutters, sidling, all exteriors' doors and frames, replaced French door which required cutting into the house (door was larger than the original one). They have painted the outside of the house twice. Outside lights were also replaced. Most recently (November 2023) replaced the entry door. The door ended up being custom made with sidelights with glass. The door is beautiful. So many have stopped by and commented on the door. Not only has all of the work been excellent, but it has also been monticules. The door insulation was outstanding. The inside of the house wall also had to be re-painted, and molding replaced. This is the only contractor we have used. We’re thinking of having a four-season room addition put on within the next two years. Please consider using this company.
