On 1/11/2023 I went to the CVS to pickup several prescriptions. Knowing I would have to meet my annual deductable which was over $520 I told the young lady manning the register that I wanted to put $300 on my debit card and the remaining balance of 286.00 on my credit card. Unfortunately, the whold amount was charged to my deibit card. I immediately brought the problem to the cashier who checked with some else in the pharmacy and was told I would have to wait 7 days for a refund. I ask to speak with a manager and the pharmacy manager went and got the store manager to try and process a void. The store doesn't allow voids so I was told I would have to wait the 7 days. I told them both I am a senior citizen and couldn't buy food because of their mistake and was basically told sorry. They made no attempt to fix the problem. I came home and immediately called CVS corporate to correct the problem and was told that is store policy to hold the refund up to 7 days. I requested a manager call me back to explain why I had to wait for the money. No one ever called me back and when I called again today I was told that nothing could be done. I feel like CVS is holding my money hostage and has no sympthany for the face that I can't buy food because of their mistake.
