Out of 3 months my child attended this school she was sick 80% of the time. From pink eye, hand foot and mouth, covid, a common cold with a constant runny nose. I know the first month at a new school is tough and kids will get sick but this was ridiculous! The teachers that took care of my daughter were WONDERFUL! They communicate clearly and do fun and creative activities. I feel sorry they have to deal with the woman who is in charge there. She has unclear and inconsistent policies. If a doctor has cleared a child to return to school, that should be all you need. We argued back and forth. She still didn’t understand that her policies need adjusting and are not clear. After these constant sicknesses and arguments over policies, I had had enough! I put in our 2 week notice of our withdrawal. My husband told her he would be giving a bad review online due to our experience. She then said that this was my husband threatening her and that it was best to terminate my daughter's attendance immediately. In the school policy it states that the school will provide enough notice of termination in order for families to find new accommodations. She did NOT do this. Not only did she not do this but she was trying to keep the tuition we paid for the week my daughter wasn’t even going to be attending. When asked for a refund she said “we don’t normally give refunds but we will in this case”. Another thing NOT stated in the contract. This caused us to scramble to look for new child care. There is no director there after 4. There is just a guy in the office, who has no child care credentials, no first aid training, and can’t administer medicine. This is NOT SAFE! The rooms are not deep cleaned at the end of the week by professional cleaners. When I picked up my daughter's stuff from the school, her things were placed in a couple of bags. When we got home, I was removing her diapers from one of the bags and a LIVE COCKROACH came crawling out of one of the diapers, horrifying!

Unfortunately, this is an upset parents response to make us look like an incapable center. We take pride in our center as we have for 14 years. Our classrooms are cleaned daily at the end of the day. This family called MSDE several times and there were no findings to the complaints submitted. Our handbook does mention that contracts can be terminated immediately for outstanding circumstances. Due to statements made that were more than just a bad review, AACLC decided to terminate the contract to protect the staff and children in our care. We are an individually owned business and can make choices that supersede any basic MSDE guidelines or Doctor recommendations. Our staff are all CPR certified and medication administration certified as well.

I am not trying to make this center look like anything. I am giving an HONEST AND TRUTHFUL review of the experience my family has had. The review I gave is exactly what happened and no, the center is NOT cleaned PROFESSIONALLY every night. Only the teachers are cleaning. Yes, in the contract it says that contracts can be terminated immediately BUT the center will also allow the family PROPER TIME TO FIND NEW ARRANGEMENTS! We loved the staff/teachers and obviously pose no threat to them or the children. The man who is in the office at the end of the day IS NOT certified! He was not able to give my daughter medicine when she needed it and doesn’t even have a key to the cabinet where the medicine is located. I will not be made out to look like I’m just posting this out of anger. As I’ve given this a lot of time to think over based off my new experience at my child’s new school. I’m posting this out of concern for the other families attending this facility.

Hello, BEWARE. This place is running a scam! We inquired about putting out 1 year old daughter in this establishment and they said you can come on a tour but we don't have no openings right now. So we go on a tour they didn't ask us to wear any masks even tho we did. The very next day they say oh we got an opening. Okay so we enroll our daughter. The whole first year our daughter was never sick.. two weeks in they call and say your daughter is running a fever you have to come pick her up. So we pick her up and she's not running a fever and seems fine. But we take her to the pediatrician anyway and they say she's fine and can return to daycare.. this place says she can not return for 24 hours. So this happens about five more times and I ask them what is your policy on letting parents know if there are sick kids in the facility. And they say that they do inform parents of this but we're there four months at this point and we never were informed once about a sick child? Then once I questioned them about it they tell us about all these sicknesses that have occurred in the past four months but no parents were ever notified? So this mysterious fever situation continues to happen and we ask that when they take her temperature could they please take a picture. Well that never happened. And they continued to say our daughter had a fever and wanted us to pick her up always. So I talked to other parents there and they said the same thing always happens to them? Come to find out this place is understaffed and they are running this scam falsely sending kids home so they don't get caught by the state for having to many kids and not enough staff. Out of the six months our daughter was there she barely attended over three months because of this scam. But they received full pay the whole time.. they are currently being investigated by the state board for multiple things.. please be aware of this place.

Unfortunately, this family has submitted several complaints over issues they had. Child illness policy states 24 hours fever free before child returns. MSDE has completed reviews after this family has contacted them and there were no findings. Our classrooms have never been understaffed and our children are cared for on a daily basis.

They are still being currently investigated ! This was such a basic response. They did not even address the rodent/roach problem they have nor did they address that they are using the so called owner as a front for her license .she is not involved in any way. Again Beware, beware., beware. This place is running a scam!
