Bought a used transmission from this company on 9/2/22 off of eBay for $1199.00 with a supposed mileage of 65k. Was shipped this transmission and delivered on 9/12/22 - installed it in my customers vehicle and has never worked (finished install 10/5/22). Contacted the guy many times. Went through all the testing to check and verify and ended up calling business and talking to owner John. He tells me after I went through multiple tests that he thinks they shipped me a bad one on accident and that he would send another one out right away. Time passes over the 2 weeks after we talked & past the 30 days on eBay for refund and he wants me to pay to ship it back, after he admitted to me it was their fault. I have called multiple times, I have sent messages and he refuse to send me another transmission or refund me any money unless I send him the defective transmission back, but he wants me to pay him to ship another. This is completely unethical and apparently, I am not the only business or person he has done this to. I believe he is using eBay commerce to scam people out of money and sending them defective used engine parts on purpose and then stringing people past the warranty date and making them pay more money. I have read other complaints about this but cannot contact eBay about the issue.Initial Complaint

May 5, 2021 I purchased an engine from the company for 1528.41. The engine was not a direct match alot of things would have to be changed so I asked for a refund and to return the engine. Merchant kept ignoring my request so I opened a dispute with PayPal. Shortly after the merchant agreed to refund my money and me send the engine back and asked that I close the dispute. He sent me a shipping label in which he paid for and had the shipping company pick up the engine. It was signed for and delivered a few days later. He refused to refund my money and since I already closed the dispute with PayPal when I thought we had came to an agreement I couldn't reopen it. I disputed with my bank account and he told them he never received the item back even though I provided them proof with the label used and tracking info they still closed my dispute, I reopened it today and asked for further review because one of his employees signed upon delivery of the return. **** item XXXXXXXXXXXX was purchased on 04.28.2021 from MD and arrived 05.03.2021 to AL at our mechanics. Further inspection by our mechanic revealed this engine was the incorrect engine and so we reached out to them to see how they wanted to handle the situation. used-jdm-engine-inc stated they wouldn't be able to send another motor to us until first receiving this one back and after inspection, which is reasonable. They gave us a good deal on another motor and got it headed our way. They arranged for and pickup was made on 05.26.2021 for the wrong engine. We didn't hear anything regarding the refund within a reasonable time period so we reached out to them on 06.22.2021. We were instructed to open a return request but as soon as we did, they closed it. We have been going back and forth trying to get our refund of $1699 since with one excuse after another. This is very unprofessional behavior! We would appreciate any assistance you can offer toward resolution.Initial Complaint

Bought a used engine on July 20, which was a Tuesday. They said it would ship out same day. It didn't, but finally after a handful of phone calls the engine was delivered towards the end of the day on that Friday. When my mechanic went to get to work on the engine, he informed me that it was the wrong engine. This is after doing VIN matches with 2 employees at Used JDM and being assured it would fit my 2010 CRV. It didn't, it was a generation older. For the past week I have been trying to return it, and every day I call before I am about to bring the engine back in, and there's either no one in the warehouse to receive it or the "boss isn't there to issue the refund" or something similar. Therefore they are unable to receive it that day and advise to check back tomorrow. I just want to be able to return the engine and get my money back, I bought it with guidance from a company specializing in engines and was still sold the wrong engine.
