March 2022 First, the company asked me to wire a payment, which is unheard of for diagnostics. This is the first dealership in my 20 years of business that has asked to wire a payment. Next it took them three weeks to look at my truck and then they said the trucks needs parts replaced (attached quote for $20k), which is almost what I bought the truck for. I went there to talk to the mechanic he said to dump the truck, its no good. Then I decided to take it to a mechanic in NJ. I towed it from Baltimore to NJ and in three days the truck was fixed for less than what I paid to this dealer in Baltimore. The diagnostic was wrong and the quote was wrong. All receipts and quotes are attached. I would like my money refunded. They are dishonest.Business response

Thank you Consumer Response /* (3000, 17, 2022/05/18) */ ***Document Attached*** They sent me an estimate of over $20 grand to fix vehicle and never fixed the harness. I had to wire them money even to start a diagnostic. There is some some sort of communication gap. Also I can provide documentation of the place that fixed my vehicle which was definitely not $20k. I would like a full refund due to this business not being ethical and not being honest with their customers. Business Response /* (4000, 19, 2022/05/23) */ Good afternoon, The company policy requires a deposit on all work over $1000.00. No repairs were made to the wiring harness, as stated on our first response the wiring harness had multiple repairs made prior to coming to our shop. The amount paid was for the time needed to diagnose the no start issue. The estimate was for based on the diagnostic time and the time to replace the engine wiring harness. The pictures in the first response show the damage to the harness and multiple splices. Do to the previous repairs of multiple splices and corrosion a wire harness was quoted for the correct repair. The customer was notified as to what time was needed for diagnostics and approved the time. The customer declined the replacement of the wiring harness. All times were approved by the customer before and durning the diagnosing.
