I hired this company for leak repair and mold remediation. Spent $8K with no resolution for leak repair. The employees hired were not able to properly identify where leaks were coming from & many were no show appointments without any communication about cancellations. No follow-up or concern from this company for providing services paid for. MJ Services took out my drywall, insulation, flooring and left it that way for over a year on 3 floors of my house. Water never stopped pouring in and this created additional damage to my furniture and carpets. I was not offered a partial refund when asked. An itemized list of costs was not provided when asked. I do not recommend this company at all to anyone. I took the loss of $8K & called another General Contractor who was able to identify the leaks and quickly fix each problem within a week for a very low cost! There are good contractors out there but MJ Services is not one when it comes to leak repairs. Hopefully sharing my experience will help someone else.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Unfortunately you did not make the proper statements. I told you from the beginning and I have all the proof that I said your two sliding doors needed to be replaced. You said you were on a budget so we took that out of the contract. We did a major amount of work. We even came back out and treated the basement for free when it had nothing to do with the work. Your crawlspace was causing the basement area to grow mold.

After spending thousands upon thousands of dollars to send somebody back there to figure out what was still leaking we came to the conclusion that it was where the main electrical wires were going into your house. We did fix the majority of the leak but this was something extra.

I even told you I was going to give you an additional estimate. Upon working with the electric company trying to get them out there to turn the electric off for the day so they can re-run the wires and then we can close the hole for you. The last conversation I had with you was electric company was going to be scheduled and I have not heard from you since. I'm not sure why after all the extra work we did this is our fault? I even started off with a larger estimate and we went down because of your budget.

I highly recommend this company! I had a roof leak and it damaged all 3 floors of my home. They came out quickly and fixed everything! Everyone was professional and friendly. They worked with my insurance company and handled it all. My roof is fixed and I have a 3 year guarantee on it from Mj! Thank you Mj home services!!
