vehicle purchased from Adams Chevrolet - February 20, 2023. Driving to work I noticed braking issues - the pedal was pulsing, rear brakes making a thump-thump noise. On the 21st I took the vehicle to independent shop (** **** *****). They did an inspection of the vehicle. I was told it needed front and rear brake pads/ rotors. It shouldn't have passed inspection. On February 23rd i took the vehicle back to Adams, they advised the vehicle passed inspection however mechanic test drove it and stated that it needed rotors from sitting on lot for over 6 mo. The manager of used cars approved rear rotors to be replaced then the mechanic would drive it again and see if it needed front rotors. So, in the beginning there was cooperation. It took 2 weeks for the rotors to arrive. I took the vehicle up to the shop at Adams and waited while work was done. The mechanic test drove the vehicle again after he replaced the rear rotors and reported back to the service agent in my presence stating, "the front rotors need to be replaced it's still pulsing". When it was time to check the service agent handed me my keys and said, "everything is good". I asked about what the mechanic said, the service agent said, "well you drive it and let us know what you think". I drove the car home and to work and the thumping was still there. I called the service department back and reached the service department manager who was completely rude and disrespectful over the phone stating that they replaced the rear rotors as a courtesy based on what i reported to them and no one test drove the vehicle to verify what i originally reported. Later that day i called the GM of the used car dealership who said he was already into the car $1000 after purchase and front rotors would need approval from his boss - he said he would call on 3/20/2023 but never did. As a customer I was told the car would be made whole and it hasn't been. I didn't ask for new pads or a total brake job, just what they promised me.
