Do not hire Medlin and Son to do any concrete work.  I have a patio project that is incomplete and once he got some more money he told me he'll get back to me when he gets the chance.  There are things that are incomplete and he did not provide what he said he would. The project was started on March 7th, 2022 and is still not complete.  The first red flag is before starting the project, Medlin tried to raise the agreed price for the project.  We had a signed contract for a set price and he text me saying he was going to up the price but I wouldn't let him. The second red flag is once he started work and he wanted me to pay him the balance within the first week before the work was even a quarter of the way completed. The schedule for working on our patio has been erratic and unprofessional.  I had to constantly ask him what he was doing and what was the schedule, with the information constantly changing.  The work has been subpar.  He has not completely and efficiently considered all that needed to be done with this project and left things that I am going to have to attend to.  There was absolutely no consideration for drainage and grading the dirt to the walk/patio.  Issues that still remain: Sitting wall end caps needs to be fixed Cracks in cement were not patched/repaired before sealing Did not patch stairs Did not seal stairs No pattern was put into the front of the stairs Dirt needs to be backfilled under the patio Materials used on the porch weren't sufficiently cleaned from patio door Left trash in yard Destroyed yard with tracks from equipment with no plans of fixing that Left water spigot useless because didn't anticipate making space for it The level of your work shows a complete disregard for the finishing of the project.  The bricks on the sitting wall are uneven, there are large gaps in the stones.  He had no consideration of backfilling the dirt under the patio creating large gaps between the patio and the ground.
