On Friday January 6, 2023 I noticed I had a nail in my tire. I knew I couldn’t drive far due to my tire being flat to the rim. I pulled up to best deal new and used tires. I was the second person waiting for service. One of the workers came over and was talking on the phone. He asked what you need? I said I need my tire plugged. While he was still on the phone he jacked my car up. By the way it was the rear tire on the right side. I then heard a loud crack. I looked at my car and saw a crack on the bottom of my car. I informed him and he said I didn’t do that. It was already like this. Now I’m looking at him saying how could you know that? I informed him that I just had my whole car repainted. I had no cracks or dings on my car. He then call some other workers who then began yelling. One of the workers told me to get on the ground and check. I told him I will not get on the ground. He then called I’m guessing the owner. He began yelling and called me a liar! I asked him to stop yelling and then he began talking in his native language (******) I felt interrogated and unsafe. The work was done by this time. And I drove away and called the police. I really felt afraid being that I’m a woman. And all these men are yelling at the same time while surrounding me. This was not my first time coming to this place. I know they are rip offs, I’ve been there twice but it was with my dad. I truly felt defeated and I will not stop here. Everyone will know about my damage to my car. This place needs to be shut down. Scam artist and bullies to those not knowledgeable about tires etc. They change their prices to see if they can rip you off. And my vehicle is damaged because of a worker not paying attention. There are brackets to place the Jack. He missed the placement because he wasn’t paying attention. A horrible place and horrible service! DONT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!

Thank you for contacting me. It is true that *********************** came to the shop for a tire repair. If it is true that her car was damaged in the shop, she would have called the police. She was not intimidated. After a careful look at the supposed damage, I concluded that, the damage was not done in the shop. If it true, she heard a noise and saw the damage on her car, she would have called the police and then take the business to court. She has a different motive. If my business is a rip off, why come there? She is trying to take advantage of the worker using a cell phone. To be candid, her car was damaged somewhere else. This to me is a transferred aggression.
      Thanks.

I am rejecting this response because: There are a lot of people intimidated by businesses that come across as bullies. I know my car was not damaged before coming to this tire place. In hindsight I wish I’d never come to place. I did in fact call the police, I was informed by the officers not to go back. And to let the officers handle it. I still have a case number to go forward with what happened. Who am I trying to rip off? This place is a rip off. It’s unfortunate that businesses like this continue to stay open and lie about damages they cause. But of course they’re going to lie, they are there to sell tires that have little to no tread for 60.00 and up. But when you have people in a bind you take advantage. You know you’re wrong shame on you.

      Regards,

On 01/24/2022, I purchased rims and tires for $700 from Mr. J****** at the Used Tire Mart location above which he declined taking my debit and said they only accept cash. After cash withdrawal from ******** near his store, they were installed on my truck; I took them home and two days later I found the right front tire low on air. I called him, and he asked me to bring them and he’ll have it looked at. I did and they found that the rim had two small cracks. He asked to put me a spare tire and have me come back in the evening for pickup. I called that evening and he confirmed the pickup, so I arrived there, and he told me it is not done yet. We made a rendezvous for the next day which he still postponed to the day after. I arrived there the day after and he was out of the shop. I called him, and he said he forgot the rim on the van he's driving and will be back in two hours. I left and made another rendezvous for the next day. This time, the rim was at the shop with two weld jobs done on it, but my tire was changed. So, I called him and asked why he replaced my original tire, he said he doesn't know where they kept it but the one on the rim is the same tire size. After a little back and forth with his boys, they went to the back and brought the original tire and installed it. I left his shop and a couple of days later, the same rim was losing air again, I called, and he never answered my calls. All February he never picked nor replied to any text message from me. I made a couple stops at his shop and couldn't catch him at the shop and his boys told them they cannot deal with me but him alone. I told them I've been calling, and he does not answer my calls. Can you guys call him, and they declined. After countless tries I sent him a text that I was coming Saturday, 03/05/2022 and I wanted my money back he did not reply but I went there anyway. Arrived, called and had no answer so I decided to call with my work phone, he answered, he said he will only refund $400.

Yes, ****** ******* bought used 22 inch rims and tires on 01/24/22 as is, after thorough inspection. After about three weeks, he came to the shop complaining of low tire pressure in one of the tires. An inspection shows two cracks in the rim. I spent $150 in repairs. I did the repairs because the items had a warranty of 30days on them. On 03/05/22, ******* came to the shop complaining again of low tire pressure in the same rim. An inspection showed a fresh Crack in the rim. I advised him to get another rim or do the repairs. He refused and told me he wants a refund. I proposed $400 but he wanted $500. I told him to wait and he left. After having spent $150, with another damage to the rim, I can only make a refund of $400.
      Thanks.
      James

I am rejecting this response because: He said i came back to him after 3weeks which is not accurate, I bought the rims and tires on a Saturday and had a slow leak 2 days later with the truck sitting in the driveway. I took it back to him upon calling him, dropped it off and he made me go to his shop 3 times for pickup and on every instance, he told me it was not ready, or he forgot it on the van he was driving around and asked me to wait 2 hours which I declined and came the next day only to find out the tire on the on the rim was replaced. when i complained that a different tire was on the rim from what they sold me they downplayed it and finally one of his boys went to the back and brought a similar tire which was older. it was installed and I left and same problem after 2 days and ever since I called and he stopped answering my calls and not responding to my text messages. I can prove he was ignoring my calls because I called with my work phone and he immediately responded. I sent him a text and told I will be at his shop on 03/05/2022 and no responds. I got there in his absence called and no response so I used my work phone and he responded and asked me to wait. long story short he arrived and wanted to repair the rim again and I rejected because I didn't know if I will be able to get hold of him again if I leave. I asked for a refund for rims which he agreed, he made go bring my old rim from my house for a swap. Upon my arrival he said he will only refund $400, I declined and I did not even use the rims he drove away and told me I should do whatever I want. later I called him and said I will be willing to accept $500 for peace but he refused and hung up on me. I am willing summit to all my phone conversations and text messages with him as prove. If his workers are honest they will testify that prior to the above mentioned date, I came to his shop twice and called him in their presence and he ignored the call. I've not mention all the back and forth to his place, my time and all the stress he put me through, the delays which he caused me and I finally had to take the truck for late MD inspection due to all the inconveniences. All the times I had to remove the tire to get it inflated before driving  f it went flat.
