The incident happened on April 1, 2023. I was looking for a pet groomer to groom my almost one year old puppy because his regular groomer had to reschedule. He desperately needed to be groomed for his birthday pictures. I called everywhere and they were all booked. I found this place not too far from my home and decided to give it a try since she was open to accommodating. We arrive Saturday AM around 9. I get there and there are already at least 10 dogs running around in there. There is no way you can give quality service with just 1 to 2 groomers. I was a little skeptical and should have went with my gut but I decided to give them a try. My puppy had recently undergone surgery and had a cone around his neck and surgery collar for an extended period of time an caused his fur coat to get a bit tangled. I did let them know and they mentioned he may have to go shorter but never went into any further detail. I also referenced a picture of my dog’s previous style cut to a guy named Dave that worked there before his services. And he assured me they could achieve it. I get a text around 12 that he is finished and to come get him. I get there and my dog is unrecognizable. I didn’t even know which one was him bc they had torn up his beautiful coat with clippers so badly and he was anxious and scared. Dale shaved my dog down to his skin/bones. He has patches of hair missing and is very shaken up, scared as if he wasn’t treated well. He has been licking himself and acting abnormal ever since going there. I reach out to the business owner via text to document the transaction and talk to her about what happened. She takes no accountability. She never once called me to get consent on whether it was ok to botch up my poor puppy before doing it. This place needs to be further investigated. The dogs were all sad looking afterwards. They were swamped with dogs and as I’ve done research I see more bad one’s about the treatment of the animals and the services provided.
