I ordered a birthday cake on 11/30/22 from Chelamakes bakery that cost $75. I put a deposit down on 12/2/22 in the amount of $37.50. After looking over my invoice, I questioned the owner about why the cake was more than what I added up and was wondering if I missed anything. I was surprised by the owner's response. The owner did not like me questioning her about the prices I was being charged and suggested to refund me my money back and go to another bakery, which I thought was unprofessional. I agreed since I seem to irritate the owner by only asking a question. My order was canceled on 12/5/22 and the owner stated in a text message that I would be refunded my deposit within 2-7 business days. It has been 9 business days and I have yet to receive my refund. I have not contacted the owner about the refund because I don't think I will receive a good response. I contacted my bank as well they only see it still pending. I have included the text message about the refund and a screenshot showing the pending refund, but it was never released from the owner.
