On Nov. 2, 2021 I when to Baltimore Discount Furniture at 4999 Fairview Ave. Linthicum, Md 21090 and was interested in buying a Sofa Set that was on the floor. I spoke with Carol ***** about purchasing the set, she told me that it was not in stock but the owner buys his furniture in advance so his customers don't have to wait long on deliveries, but I would have to wait for it to be maded and I should recieve my furniture around 12/14/21 and that if I put money down I would be in line to get the furniture by the date, so I put $800.00 down on a $1590.00 purchase and Carol said she would call me when the pieces would come in but the Loveseat was in stock already if I wanted that and I said no I would wait for the whole set (Sofa, Loveseat, chair and ottoman) So on 11/30/21 I gave Carol a call just to see if everything was on schedule and She told me that the manufactor has the material and I should recieve my furniture around 12/18/21, On 12/11/21 I called to see if the furniture was still on schedule and I spoke to Sean and he said I would most likely not get my furniture until after christmas because people take off for Christmas and He could not give me a update that Carol would call me back which she never did, so I called back on 12/14/21 I spoke to Carol and she than tells me that the material was on a boat waiting to get in the port so no one knows when I will get my furniture, so now her story has changed and this is all due to Corvid which I can understand. On 12/27/21 I found out my husband needs to get surgery on his shoulder and will not be able to work for 4-6 months so I really can afford my furniture so I when down to cancel the order because it was not built yet anyway and it was not a special order because it was on the furniture store floor and they carry it. I spoke to Carol and she said that she could not get my money back I could only have a store credit, and I tell her my problem with my husband and she said she would talk to the owner,
