Angelica came to inspect my roof due to an inside leak. She brought all the necessary equipment. She was extremely well versed in what she was doing and explained step by step what needed to be repaired. She inspected the attic and of course the roof outside and explained everything to me, which I appreciated very much. Now I know how to proceed to prevent further leaks because of her excellent suggestions. I highly recommend using Angelica O****** for any roofing issues. She was very professional and very polite.

I recently had my roof replaced in June and TNR were very professional from start to finish I was happy with the detailed presentation by Logan D***** in regards to the material that they were using and the timeline it would be done in along with the explanation of the warranty They worked together as a team and got it done professionally It looks great and I am so pleased with the results It was definitely tested out by the large amount of rain we’ve been having too I would definitely recommend them to anyone

TNR BOTCHED IT!!! POOR WORKMANSHIP! They left our new roof with dips and slopes in it that was not there before they replaced our old roof; however, instead of taking ownership of a faulty and poorly done roofing job, instead, they said it was a joist problem in our roof that caused the dip/slope. We reported what they said back to our insurance company and our insurance company confirmed that there was no joist problem at all prior to TNR doing the job, which is EXACTLY what we had already told TNR. TNR also poorly installed the shingles on the edge of the roof, and they installed curved upward on that entire edge. Co-Owner, of TNR, admitted that all of this was evident, but when he sent his partner out to inspect, handle, and fix the poor workmanship, his partner was arrogant from the onset, and unwilling to fix the poor workmanship and problems that they had created. Instead, the partner placed all the blame on our roof. But please keep in mind, that we were REASSURED in advance of TNR starting the roof job, that despite any other areas that we were going to have done with our fascia and soffit, that none of that would interfere with, or impact them moving forward with replacing the roof first. Afterwards, when the roof was installed poorly, the partner was extremely arrogant and unprofessional, and refused to stand behind his work and TNRs promise to install out new roof with guaranteed satisfaction. The partner made up one false Reuther after another when he came out to assess the faulty workmanship; in fact, when we pointed out that the drip edge was not installed with precision and was not laying flat in many areas, and that many of the shingles were not laying flat and were buckled against the edge of the dormer, as though the workers had jammed the shingles against the dormer during install, instead of cutting it to fit just under the edge of the dormer, the partner just said that's the way the drip edge should look, (even though some of the drip edge was done right); and as for the buckling shingles he said, wait until the summer when it's really really hot outside and they will automatically flatten out. Well, maybe that works when the shingles are installed correctly to begin with, but not when they are buckling because they have been jammed into place and installed incorrectly! By the way the roof was installed in April 2021, it is now SEPTEMBER 2021, and all of the shingles that were buckled then, are STILL buckled NOW! That dip and slope that they created on the right side of our new roof STAYS soaked and wet after a heavy rain even when the rest of the roof dries out in the hot sun, that area also takes a while to dry out too; it's a DISHEARTENING and DISAPPOINTING MESS!!!! I recorded it on video after a rain storm, and you can CLEARLY SEE THE SECTION OF WET SHINGLES where the dip and slope is. The amount of overhang of shingles all around the roof's edges are inconsistent in measurement. The front of our house is red brick, and the workers did a very sloppy job placing the black tar on the flashers and it was clunky and thick. When we asked the partner to clean up the craftsmanship in those areas he told them to fix it and he left without returning to inspect the outcome. In fixing the sloppy flashers and tar, the workers cracked one of the bricks at the very top near our trim molding and in another area of flashing they cut the flashing too narrow and left a black permanent stain on our red brick. When we called the partner about it he got angry and said we just could not be pleased! Why would we be pleased with sloppy workmanship and you're charging us over $20,000 for a new roof? To add insult to injury, we told the Partner that we would gladly pay him the remaining balance on the roof job when he completed it satisfactorily, however, he had our Credit card information from our INITIAL deposit on the roof job. TNR's policy CLEARLY states that once we are satisfied WE MAY CHOOSE OUR FINAL METHOD OF PAYMENT. We had NO INTENTION OF USING THE CREDIT CARD THAT WE USED FOR OUR INITIAL DEPOSIT. We planned to pay it in full via a different method of payment. Well, that partner CHARGED THE BALANCE OF THE JOB TO OUR CREDIT CARD THAT WE USED FOR THE INITIAL DEPOSIT AND HE DID IT WITHOUT OUR CONSENT OR KNOWLEDGE!!!! Of course we contacted our bank and reported it, and they took care of it. Ultimately, we immediately paid TNR the full balance owed, JUST TO BE RID OF THE ARROGANCE AND THE HEADACHE of dealing with such UNPROFESSIONALISM and SHOTTY WORK ETHICS FROM 'that partner'. Btw, the original 'partner' that we first dealt with was very professional AND willing to fix the problems and to stand behind TNRs work and promise of satisfaction guaranteed, the other 'partner' absolutely was not! Before that partner's horrible display of arrogance, poor work ethics and equally poor workmanship and reliability, we were actually considering the possibility of letting TNR replace the soffit and fascia on our home as discussed with the first 'partner', but after that other 'partner's' headache and show of disrespect, we wouldn't let TNR touch our home with a ten foot pole.

This is very disappointing after numerous hours and attempts to make Mrs. R******* satisfied. I always take every step to make every single customer we have as satisfied as possible. Please see our final conversation that was sent via email which breaks down the entire interaction. Mrs. R******* on several occasions we came out to your home both Bruce and myself (Anthony). . We both have been on your job, and EVERYTHING was and is installed to code, correction and GAF Pro Guide Handbook. We have gone out of our way to correct everything you wanted. We walked around the property numerous times and spoke about what would happen. You said yourself you are a perfectionist, and I am here to say that their roof is installed correct. I am sorry you feel that the roof is not "PERFECT".

Anthony and I have done everything we can to correct everything you wanted. Luis has been out to your home multiple times, along with walking your neighborhood and looking at other homes that are done the same as yours. We have another install in your neighborhood coming up and everything we do will be the same as yours.

In regard to the joists issue. As I said the only reason, I can think of there being a "slight" dip on the corner part of your roof is due to a joist sitting a bit lower than others from settling. You cannot just saw off the joist and replace it. As your roof is not install incorrectly because of that. The other thing is that all your fascia boards on your house are rotted out. You have a new roof that was installed, yet you have all of your wood fascia, both rakes and eaves rotting away on your home, causing issues on the corners and sie of your home/ roofing. All of your fascia is either rotted, chipping, or fallen off. This is helping cause some of the curling on the corners or slight dip in the one area.

At the end of the day, your adjuster can say what he wants, however, he had no idea what he is talking about if he is telling a homeowner that a roofing company should remove and replace joists on a home. The cause of your board dipping is most likely from the fascia boards rotting and being unlevel and perhaps a joist or two that have settled uneven.

As a company, we have done everything you wanted. Anthony spending hours with you at your house after the installed, on the phone, text messages and emails. I have now done the same thing and it does not seem we will ever make you happy. You have a small tare stain on your house from the corner flashing, because you wanted us to take the old one off an redo the flashing. We did and now it is not to your likely. You wanted us to add the drip edge on the small return boxes of the house, a very small area in which is not typical and if you walk some of the neighbors in your development you would see they do not have it. You wanted it we installed and now you are sending us a picture of a piece of drip edge that has less than 1/8'' of an inch gap, if that.

Your credit card was charged 28 days after we completed your initial install. We have come out numerous times to correct the issues. When I met with you last, I said we were going to correct the final issues, Luis would send me photos of all completed work that you and I discussed and that we would close this job out. Therefore, you card was charges yesterday or the day before that for final amount. Over the course of 28 days never once was it mentioned to TNR that you wanted to use a different card.

I have attached a picture of your contract that states 1/3 up front and 2/3 of final balance due at completion. We waited another 28 days to collect after your "completion". See attached.

I also attached the last picture you sent me in regard to the small, tiny gap on the drip edge. These are the things I am speaking of when I say I cannot make you happy. I am empathetic, I am an honest man, but I just do not think it is far that you say it is unethical or that you will go to the BBB. You are more than welcome to do as you may. We have a great relationship with the BBB, your community and we stand behind out work and have integrity doing so.

The warranty cannot be submitted in two people's names. We tried and we cannot. It can only be in one person's name. You will receive your warranty paperwork soon, if you have not already.

Thank you for your time and again I thank you for your business. If you have any issues with your roof, please give the office a call and we can take a look. You have 50-year warranty on materials and 25 years on labor, reference to your warranty paperwork when you receive.

Have a great rest of your week.

      Customer Response

      09/15/2021

The feedback that TNR Remodeling submitted in response to my BBB review of their company could not be farther from the truth. It was a disgruntled compilation of ramblings of not just bits and pieces of information from not one, but various emails, but it was also padded up with extra comments that never even occurred, and was filled with fabrication on so many levels. I have emails that prove total contradiction to the vast majority of Bruce P***'s 'ramblings' in his BBB response to my Review Of TNR. But aside from all of that, it is also an example of the dishonest manner in which they conduct their business practices.
When Anthony D***** held the very first meeting with us about installing a new roof, the very first thing we discussed was fixing the rotted fascia and soffit located in several areas on the front of the house. Anthony initially wrote the estimate to include all of the work to be done on the fascia and soffit along with the roof installation. Then he suggested separating the fascia and soffit estimate from the roof install estimate in an effort to get the bigger roofing job estimate to the insurance company so that we could get approval on the roof first to be able to expedite the ordering of roofing materials as soon as possible. He also said that it would be easier to get approval on the smaller fascia/soffit job separately. We insisted on ensuring that the rotted wood and fascia job be done first, and then do the roof afterwards, but Anthony reassured us that it would have no bearing or impact on the roof job.
In the end, after the poorly installed roof job, we received a deceitful and belligerent email from Bruce P***, that said, "We do NOT replace fascia boards". (Copies of emails are available to share upon request that we received from TNR that proves that they scheduled their initial appointment with us to give an estimate on the fascia and soffit). Not to mention, that during the roof install, the workers ripped off areas of the rotted facia that supported the roof in the very area that ended up sloped and curved after they installed the new roof; the SAME area that Bruce claimed had a 'bad joist' when they finished the roof install. The rotted wood actually had absolutely no impact on our old roof, because the old roof was level and strong, until TNR's workers ripped off the fascia and wood under that right side. Bruce refused to fix all of their damages, which ultimately led us to a parting of ways. There are so very many deceitful and misleading promises that were made to us initially by TNR just to gain our business, that later went unfulfilled.
Which brings me to the ultimate deception; Bruce P***, did not receive authorization from us to charge the final payment due, on our credit card, but he did so anyway without our consent. His contract clearly states, "It is the customers right to select their form of payment". (A copy of the screenshot of that statement in our TNR contract can be provided upon request). We chose to use one of our preferred credit cards when we paid the initial deposit, but that was NOT the credit card or method of payment that we were planning to use to pay our final balance. In the end, Bruce P*** was angry that we were not satisfied with the poor workmanship and unfinished/unresolved issues that we were still waiting for him to address and fix prior to completion and final payment, and without our knowledge, consent, or authorization, he illegally gave himself authorization to charge our credit card. We have NEVER conducted business with a company with such illicit and unethical practices such as those of Bruce P*** of TNR,

Bruce P*** refused to complete the job satisfactorily, never returned to fix the damages that TNR created during the roof installation, became infuriated with the homeowner because we would not accept his poor workmanship, and then illegally charged the wrong credit card by giving himself the authorization to do so.
      ----------
If necessary, we can provide a copy of an email that ACCURATELY details EVERYTHING that TNR failed to comply to in their promise to satisfactorily complete the job that they were contacted to do for our roofing installation.
