      I will not repeat what others have stated about the $50, which is not congruent with what they sold us. I guess their justification is better service. After a call in January 25 and one in April 25 and now in August 25 with no response it appears my $50 has not been effective. At least in the August phone call I received a text message back saying that they have a temporary storm backlog which has been going on since January. I simply cannot recommend Lednor fair anything related to service

      We had harry helmet install our gutters with a promotion through ******. I called in June to schedule an appointment for the gutters to be cleaned. We have birds nests in the gutters which is causing issues when we have a storm. (Which we were told wouldnt happen with this product) We were told we would receive a call to schedule the cleaning within 2 weeks. Nothing. We called again and cannot reach an actual person. Theres also nothing in the contract about the $50 fee. At this point I will gladly pay it. Not being able to speak to an actual person is very unprofessional. Waiting for a call back for 2 months is unacceptable.

      HORRIBLE customer service..actually NO customer service. No response to messages, voice mail, email, chat bots. Finally, after 3 weeks, got a call today where I learned that my appointment for tomorrow was canceled???!! WHAT? no explanation, no nothing. Now I will have to wait another 2 weeks for a repair estimate after a tree damaged the roof...5 weeks for just an estimate!!! no excuses for such horrible customer service, to say nothing of all the other comments about not standing behind the product, which I have also experienced

      As others have noted, they changed their lifetime free service guarantee, and now charge a $50 fee for "warranty appointments". This wasn't a part of the contract that I signed. Not to mention their product is hopeless - the gutter guards clog regularly with the slightest bit of tree debris. More specifically, though, I needed to contract them to remove ~60 feet of the gutter helmet system so repairs could be made to my roof, and for them to replace some of the helmet and repair the fascia which had also been damaged. We were aligned to the work, which I was told was a "simple job". After signing the contract, it took weeks and many calls to the service department to get on the schedule to get the first crew to the house. Upon arrival, that crew had no idea what was expected of them and didn't have the proper materials to do the repair work. So, they took the gutters off and told me they'd be back to finish the repair and replace the gutters/helmets when the roof was finished. That was two months ago, and I still can't get anyone to come back to my house to actually finish the job. This has been the worst customer experience I have ever had. This company should be investigated for their nefarious practices to change policies for customers with pre-existing contractual commitments and should be avoided at all costs by any potential new customers who want a ********************** guard solution that works.

      Contracted to de-install gutter helmet gutter guards on 5/30. Paid deposit 6/2. Have tried to contact over a dozen times through various phone numbers for the national and local offices. When I actually get a human, its always someone that says I cant handle this but Im either escalating this or having a manager call you back. Zero calls back over a month and a half. Weve been waiting as the roof is being replaced and the roofing company wont touch the gutter helmet gutter guards for fear of voiding the warranty. Since no one ever called me back and Im handling this for my Mom who is in the hospital and lives in a different state, I told the roofing company that 7/14 would be fine to replace the roof. I was hopeful that Gutter helmet would come through and de-install the guards as promised. With more phone calls and apologies and promises to escalate the matter I was hopeful. ****. Nothing. My husband called and I had an attorney write an email. Still nothing. I filled out the customer contact form on the national website and got a call back in about 1 minute. I though, wow, finally someone read my message in the contact form and is actually responding. Guess what? They responded only because they thought it was new business. I asked the person if they even read my message. She said they dont receive them, only the name and phone number. What?!? Now I just got a random text stating a warranty service is tentatively scheduled for 7/31 or 8/1. The roofing materials were delivered on 7/13 and are just sitting in my Moms yard. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE! Dont waste your money on these gutter guards. The service is horrible and they dont back their product. Its not worth the expense. This has been a horrible experience and I dont recommend this company to anyone.

      Purchased Original Awning July 12, 2016. Our saga begins in May ******************************************************************* the open position. Called the company and they charged us $150 and sent out three gentlemen to manually remove motor and awning and tie back the arms.May 1, 2025 Signed and paid $3500.00 for the replacement motor and awning to be made. Signed contract via email.June 12 and 13, 2025 We called to get a status and sent to voicemail.June 23 and 25, 2025 We called and put another message in the voicemail.June 25, 2025 We had a business card from *** and was told their were delivery issues from *******. July 1, 2025 we contacted ******* they claimed their were no delivery issues. July 3, 2025 We were given **** and ********* from Sunesta to contact. July ******* We once again called the Lednor/Gutter helmet and were put to voice mail. At this time we have at this time no awning, no motor, No date when our awning and motor will be returned.

      The Harry Gutter Helmet was purchased on 7/14/20. I called Gutter Helmet regarding the gutter helmet being clogged and preventing proper water flow, as advertised. During that time, I was informed that under their new policy, the consumer would have to pay a $50 charge for the techs or those responsible for correcting the issue before we could receive service. When I spoke to the representative at that time, I informed her the contract does not state this, the warranty from 2020 does not state this, the salesman did not say this, and we would not have signed up for this if there was a charge every time you came to fix an issue. She stated that this was something that started in 2023. I informed her that this charge should not apply to past customers since it was not a part of the contract. Based on the contract and warranty, we (consumers) cannot have anyone else other than Harry Gutter Helmet fix these issues. We cannot allow anything to come in contact with the gutter helmet. I spoke to a young lady from headquarters, and she told me to read my warranty. I told her the warranty that I printed at the time of my purchase did not include a $50 charge. I asked her what page she was referring to; she informed me that she did not have the warranty in front of her, but I would need to contact the manufacturer, and they would need to send someone out to take a look at my parents' gutter helmet. The warranty specifically reads that if any clogs, gaps, spacing, or misalignments that cause animals or birds to enter the system occur, contact your installation dealer for service. Now the installation dealer is requesting my parent to pay $50 up front just to send someone to fix it. This has been a total headache. There have been terrible storms, and this gutter helmet is still clogged and possibly causing water damage to my parents’ porch. DO NOT use this company; they want you to honor the contract and warranty, but they will not honor their own contract and warranty.

      Terrible customer service. AI generated ***** is not helpful. Charge $100 just to schedule a repair. There is no one to speak to directly. Waiting months for repair. No promt on system to address repair needs.

      HORRIBLE AND UNRESPONSIVE COMPANY FOR SCHEDULING AND COMMUNICATION. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD AND THEN CEASE COMMUNICATION. Sales Reps are nice until the contract is signed then they become UNPROFESSIONAL AND DOWNRIGHT RUDE LACKING ALL INTEGRITY AND CREDIBILITY. I signed a contract ONE WEEK AGO, PAID MY DEPOST OF $1,000 and literally NO ONE HAS CALLED ME TO SCHEDULE. I am DISPUTING THIS FRAUDULENT CHARGE AND WILL TAKE TO COURT IN ADDITION TO FILING WITH BBB and OAG office for fraudulent business practices.

      Our conversation didnt happen until I filed this complaint and threatened to cancel my contract. That is an extraordinarily poor business practice. I had no communication or a portal to know when my installation was scheduled. Weather conditions is not an excuse to not communicate! Even the salesman, ** ******, was sassy, unprofessional uncouth and disrespectful towards me when I exhausted all other efforts to communicate with not even so much as a return call from your toll free number. This is completely unacceptable and future customers should absolutely be aware that a week or more will go by after you sign the contract before they will hear anything about an installation date. You MUST communicate consistently and return calls within 24 hours to customers. This is VITAL! There are too many fraudulent companies who exist to solely scam people. You charged my deposit of $934.00 and then vanished until I threatened legal action against your company for fraud. This is completely unacceptable, and my one star rating stands as of this moment. They better do one heck of a job on the installation next week and not jerk me around. I absolutely will NOT stand for it in any form.
