I purchased Microsoft Business Standard on December 2022 for what I thought was 12 months. Because I am a first time customer and everything was done online, it was difficult to get a hold of anyone to ensure that what I was picking was correct. I was charged $142.44 in December 2022 for what I thought was going to cover me for the upcoming 12 months. On January 4, 2023, I get charged another $142.44- confused and frustrated because that charge put me in the negative and cost me an insufficient funds fee, I tried reaching out to a Microsoft representative. Again, not easy to get a hold of. When I finally get someone to call me back, they are trying to help me over the phone, we do screen share and he can't figure it out. He calls me the next day and tells me that I incorrectly chose 12 licenses, instead of choosing 1 license. Since this was all new to me and nobody was of assistance upon purchasing, I told him that I am a one-person/small business. I only need one license for one employee (me) and for one computer. I don't need 12 licenses. From January 4-January 30, my issue was being passed around. On January 30, I finally get a call stating that in order to fix my situation, they would need to cancel my subscription, they will refund me the two charges and will put me on a trial subscription until I get my money back. It has been well over a month and a half, I have not been refunded as promised. I had to cancel my the trial subscription, so that I wouldn't get charged again. They put me with a new representative who tells me that they have credited me for $135. First of all, I was told I would be refunded, not credited. Secondly, there were TWO transactions of $142.44, so I don't know where the $135 number is from. Thirdly, the representative can only email because he says his time zone is not compatible with mine. I told him I would make myself available to get this situation resolved. Nothing has been resolved and I still haven't gotten my money back or the 1 license.

RE: Immediate scheduled date/time level 3 engineering technician call back, with email response. 1. Microsoft outlook mail and the mail app has not updated or synched mail for months. 2.Microsoft has a pattern and practice of: I have phoned many times, spent hours, been disconnected via phone and remote with no return phone call had agents from many countries remote my pc, change settings including in the security/firewall, and update windows or stop window updates. Microsoft agents deleted the mail app email, reinserted via ***** code to no avail. 3. February 24, 2023, I asked for escalation to level 3 Microsoft technician for a scheduled phone call back and Norhan (Microsoft) wrote notes in case # ********** that documents many other case calls, saying to call back and give this case number requesting a supervisor because none were available. 4. February 24, 2023 Case #**********, no resolution. 5. February 25, 2023: email "Thanks for contacting Microsoft support. It looks like we were unable to resolve your issue." No resolution. 6. February 27, 2023: I asked for a supervisor Case # **********, the agent read case # **********, transferred me-disconnected. Then from phone # ###-###-#### a agent identified himself as a "Microsoft office agent" who wanted to remote my pc telling me to follow his commands in outlook, that I did and I said these steps has been done for months by myself or a Microsoft agent. He hung up. 7. REQUEST for Microsoft to investigate February 27, 2023 "Microsoft agent" who remoted my pc and then hung up . Provide the reason for this? 8. Why do Microsoft agents disconnect and not return phone calls. Why should Microsoft require a good or ANY call back number? Microsoft has the account information stored.

1/29/2023 was my first point of contact. I was no longer able to access or modify my Microsoft files that I created on my computer. I use a disk based version of microsoft office that I bought in a retail store. Without warning I can no longer create docs or modify my existing docs created through Microsoft office. I finally surcommed to the $6.95 monthly ransom for Office 365. But even after purchasing that, I still can no longer access important family and financial files that I created with this software. I used every available channel through the Microsoft website to fix the situation with no avail. Every google search effort to reach Microsoft support has led me in an endless circle with no contact with a person or feedback to my questions.

I have used MS Office for decadesd, today when I tried to use MS Excel in MS Office 365 all of a sudden it wouldn't work as it always has because MS repeatedly updates it's programs with no warning to its users and the MOST ABSURD CUSTOMER SUPPORT IMAGINABLE!!!! How can a company get away with providing a product with such absolutely horrible customer support...and when you call the customer support number, it begins to recognize you as a repeat caller and shortens the options for you until it simply tells you to go on-line, which I had already done, and still couldn't get an answer to why Excel wasn't working as it always had up until when I tried to use it today...support is horrible and no explanation for the changes they make. I spend more time trying to find out how to do something than just being able to do the task that used to be relatively simple. I demand a response back from MS on this. i know I am not the only very frustrated customer.
