I spoke with Kelly ***** regarding a moving a few items within my condo. We scheduled Tuesday 7/19/22 between 2-4PM for her to come out and evaluate the job. I left work early to arrive home in time, she called me and said she would not be coming out but could do the evaluation over the phone. I had told her that I wanted my secretary moved to the other side of the room and several other pieces within the room moved. I had asked her if I needed to empty the furniture, she told me I only needed to empty the top. I did as requested and emptied the top. On the following day, the men came out to move the secretary they broke a leg off the furniture piece, I sent Kelly the picture of the broken leg, there were also several pieces of splintered wood. I didn't want them to finish the rest of the job as I felt they didn't seem to care that they broke the secretary. The movers put the secretary on the broken leg. The piece collapsed during the night and does not look as though it can be repaired. I had previously asked for compensation of 100.00 when I thought the leg would hold. Kelly refused to give me the 100.00 and gave me a token 25.00 refunded to my credit card. I emailed the corporate office in Florida, they refused to compensate me as well. I'm now asking for the full valuation price of the piece at 500.00.
