On June 29, 2023, my dog had an appointment at Petite Pet Gallery for grooming services. After his services were completed I received a call that he was ready for pick up. Upon my arrival at the establishment the front desk associate took my payment. I waited to retrieve my dog which took longer than usual which then made me concerned. The front desk associate, ******** brought my dog to the waiting area and his ear was bleeding. ******** stated "the groomer said he has a nick on his ear." However my dogs ear was dripping with blood thus I requested to speak with the groomer. The groomer ******* stated "he has a nick to his ear and I cleaned it with peroxide." Due to the nature of his injury I informed the staff that he required an ER vet visit. ******** advised me to email the medical bill for reimbursement. The Vet said my dog suffered a laceration to the ear which required surgical glue, long acting antibiotic and follow-up appointment. After the visit forwarded the medical bill $275.89 to the establishment via email. Later on June 29th, received communication from ******* via email stating "I have spoken to the owner and he has informed me that we will reimburse you for the veterinary bill. We will mail a check out to you as soon as you can provide us with a current address. We hope **** feels better soon. ******* Manager @ petite pet gallery." Subsequently on July 12th, received a defaming letter about my dog, a partial check in the amount of $185.89, which also indicated a reimbursement to my credit card in the amount of $90 for the grooming services from the owner **** ******** of Petite Pet Gallery. My dog required a follow-up visit today July 20, 2023 in the amount of $68. Please note as of today July 20, 2023 I have not received the full amount of the vet bill or credit card reimbursement. The total medical bill is $343.89 (to include today's visit) and grooming services $90.
