    I don't post much but I would love to warn anyone and everyone that wants to purchase from FRENCHPORTE....(unless you have 2 years to wait, and need a really bad pen pal with texting, him ghosting me, phone calls with excuses after excuses, etc...) I have never dealt with such a terrible business man. It literally took 23 months to get this garage door in my possession, and that took work! When he finally confirmed that the door was built, the "guy for the crates and shipping was on vacation". When the crate was built and they called for delivery of the door, the crate was 10ft long and the shipping company could not use the lift on the back of the truck to get it off of the truck. We had to lift it off of the truck, the driver also helped and thankfully the neighbors were up and came to assist us. Then parts were missing!!!! Ken Maher the owner of the company.....sent a message asking if the door was up, when I told him no that we were missing parts he said he would have them overnighted and call me tomorrow......that was August 29th and I still have not heard from him or received the parts. I wouldn't wish all of the stress and the unknown of where in the process the door is on anyone!! (since the initial delivery date was 3 months from the time I paid in FULL.) I warn everyone do your research!!!! I did mine and feel that there needs to be more truthful reviews. It is a beautiful door and I love it but had I known what it would take.....I would have chosen differently. (I found the door on Lowe's site. ) Oh and on the contract is states no refunds.....he would not return my calls until I asked if I needed a Lawyer..... SO VERY THANKFUL THIS NIGHTMARE IS OVER!!!!

    Hi Lisa, I am so grateful and thankful you let the world know about FrenchPorte and the issues it is having. Unfortunately, the company I outsource to has just not been able to recover from the pandemic. The last 10 doors we sent out had quality control issues and were sent back. I am so thankful that you recieved yours. I asked the factory to send you the parts that were missing but of course they didn't. We are not doing business together and I am using a different factory. Lisa, you know that my intent was not to make you wait and then when we delivered we didn't follow up with sending you the missing parts. I take full responsibility for everything and I am not blaming anyone but me. FrenchPorte will be back making doors and delivering within six weeks quality doors.Please accept my apologies and have a Merry Christmas. FrenchPorte will be back stronger and better. We have such a great product that changes the curb appeal of any home. Many days I have thought about giving up but it is not in my DNA.
