      This hotel has so much to offer. We stay here often and we love it. Audrey at the front desk always goes above and beyond to make sure that our stay is perfect. Thank you to John the GM. You are doing an awesome job. **** * **** ******

      I have stayed at this property for 3 nights and paid an average of $400 per night. Upon check out, my husband and I needed and extra hour for a conference call. We asked the front desk (Cristina) who said they do not run late check out that day, so I asked to speak to the manager and explain the situation. The manager (John ********) was not responsive and only got back after an hour to address the question asked. John ********, the manager said to me that he is not able to give us an hour to wrap a call even if we stayed 3 nights at this property. Poor business decision for someone who oversees a property that has 120 rooms. I would just never return to this hotel. In addition to this, Mr John ********, decided to take this very personal and called the housekeeping team to ask them to make sure that I leave my room on time at 11am sharp! which is so despicable and unprofessional, border line discriminatory. I am a women of color with a headscarf and this man just decided to take things on a personal level. This practice is so despicable that I hope the owners of this proper take the matter seriously. This property should not have people such as this man run a property. They will never have me as a customer, period abd this is the result of a poor business decision and bad training for manager on duty who needs serious uncounscious bias and anti-discrimination/racism trainings and how to deal with people of Color. I hope the owners of this property take a serious look at their operations at this hotel.

      Lala, thanks for taking the time to review the all NEW Fenwick Inn. We are so sorry that you were upset when denied a late check out on a busy August weekend. You were offered accommodations to take your conference call in the business center, the breakfast room, the coin laundry room, the 8th floor, etc. You immediately rejected these offers and said, “no, I will be staying in my room as I booked 3 nights.” We understood you had stayed 3 nights with us and we appreciated your business. We informed you that an extra hour on top of the already late 12 o’clock inquiry of later check-out was not feasible because it was a busy turnover day (115 check outs),. You decided to belittle the front desk when denied an additional 2 hours in the room. We offered a solution of closing off the breakfast room, business center, 8th floor, and/or coin laundry to take your conference call but you refused all of this. The GM never got the chance to meet you in-person. But tried to offer you a solution to help and you turned It down. We do not appreciate your slander. We gave you an appropriate solution and you went belligerent when we declined giving you the room for extra hours. We are sorry we were unable accommodate your late check out request.
