We were booked to stay the last weekend of September into the beginning of October for a large concert festival. Unfortunately a hurricane occurred canceling the festivities and obviously making it unsafe to travel to Ocean City Maryland. This establishment is refusing to give us our money back, Even though we only had to cancel because of mother nature something completely out of our control.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 19, 2022/12/01) */ Ocean city had tropical storm like weather which did unfortunately cancel the festival going on in town however this does not change the hotel's cancellation policy that was agreed to upon booking. Consumer Response /* (3000, 21, 2022/12/02) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) First and foremost a hurricane should be an immediate void of any and all bookings anywhere. While it is not the fault of the hotel for the weather, it is not the fault of the guest either. Public safety should always take priority and the hotel shouldn't be charging patrons for a stay they cannot have. At least an offer of another time to stay at the hotel should have been given if they refuse to return money.Initial Complaint

Booked 2 nights at the hotel and when we arrived we found it so dirty the rooms and restroom no hot water , mold everywhere and ants and insect at the bed and the floor , swimming pool has very bad smell ( pees) size is so small and dirty pool , when we try to refund the money and cancel it the receptionist laugh and did not even try to clean the room or offer replacement. this place has very bad reviews at google , it affect people health , need inspection to go to test all the location is dump really how they still open and to the public
