      **** management is terrible, they ignore simple requests, all slider doors in our building have been replaced with except for 5 units, ours is 1 of the 5 units to yet be replaced, we can not get a date as to when this will happen. Numerous complaints with ones put in and takes months & months for them to get back to you, it is totally insane!!

The complaint was filed by a condominium unit owner at the Vintage Condominium. The facts as we understand them to be are as follows: 1. Doors and windows are a general common element and the condo association is responsible for the replacement. 2. The condo association is governed by a board of directors. 3. The board of directors consults with various independent professionals on various matters such as engineers, attorneys, auditors, management agents etc. 4. The independent engineer constantly reviews the building's conditions and makes recommendations with priorities. 5. The management agents have limited powers in making purchasing decisions and a very small monetary allowance. This is very typical with all management agent agreements. 6. The board has a limited budget and reserves to work with and has to do its fiduciary duty on behalf of all owners. 7. To date 75% of the doors have been replaced and the remaining 25% will be replaced in accordance with the schedule and cash flow prognosis. Ergo, the door to unit 403 owned by the ******'s will be replaced when as recommended by the independent engineer. I have also forwarded to you emails from two board members which confirm the aforementioned facts. Feel free to contact me with any further comments or questions.
