  My wife and I paid Cahill Land Design (**** ***** ************ ** Ste B Suite *, Olney, MD *****) to renovate our pool and garden. They have been unreachable for the past two weeks with no response to multiple text messages, calls to cell and landline numbers, and emails. Their website and office telephone seem to have been shutdown. We fear Cahill has absconded with our money and would like the BBB's help in locating someone from the company so we can continue our work on this project.

  Chris C******** was constructing a $400k swimming pool and landscaping project at my neighbor's home. In June 2021, Mr. Cahill approached us about removing trees on our property along the property line shared with our neighbors. The reason was because Mr. Cahill neglected to get a survey completed prior to beginning the project and had constructed the pool by the time the survey was completed. The survey revealed that his project plans were 15 feet short of the space he planned to use. The landscape design for the neighbors included a considerable amount of work to be performed in areas that were not part of the neighbors' property. To compensate for the error, Mr. Cahill approached us and proposed removing a number of trees and shrubs on our property and replace them with new plantings to give the appearance of a greater landscaping plan. We agreed to allow him to remove the designated trees and shrubs on our property and replace them. Our agreement called for him to plant eight  10-12 ***********, which he did. He was also supposed to plant two Himalayan Pine (Zebrina) trees and ground cover (Mondo Grass) between the trees and the fence on our property and irrigate the trees with underground watering provided from the neighbors' automatic watering system. After the eight ***** ****** were planted, Mr. Cahill stopped work on our side and closed the fence. It has been five months since he was last here. He failed to provide the Himalayan pines, the mondo grass, the irrigation system and also failed to remove the root balls for the five **** Laurels he removed as part of the project. Repeated attempts to talk with him and resolve this have been unsuccessful.
