I am completely dissatisfied with Chesapeake Bay Crab Cakes & More. I received a flat rate $9.95 shipping deal after I placed my order a couple hours earlier. I spoke to a rep and asked for any discounts available for Father's Day and they said there were none. So I placed my order. Then I got a discount code via email which my order more than qualified for a shipping rate of $9.95. I had paid almost $50 shipping. I ordered my lobster dinner over $200.00 on June 3rd before the June 4th deadline, and the food was shipped by June 5th (the second requirement) and we ordered over $200 worth of food, well over the $99 requirement. Order date: Jun 3, 2024 shipped June 5th, the last requirement. I called and spoke to a rep and said that I qualified for the $9.95 flat rate shipping but had received this a couple hours after I placed my order. He said too bad, I don't qualify, and there is nothing he can or will do to help or make things right. I said we order lobster dinners several times per year as he can see. He said yep, but there is still nothing he can or will do for me. He was unwilling to save a customer. Told him that his unwillingness to help, has us using in the future, The ******* ***, ***** ******** etc. He said okay and hung up. Wow, never again! Their food tastes good, but they are greedy.Review from Lynn C

The quiche in the catalog does not say it’s “ egg whites only”. When expecting a quiche made with whole eggs for flavor, eating an egg white quiche is watery with little to no flavor. I tossed it in the garbage. To me it was like false advertising.Review from Judean B

Thank Heaven I did some research before ordering from this company. Their magazine is going in my trash bin. The best place for fresh authentic Maryland crab, but it’s expensive, is The Crab Place. Worth every penny!Review from John O

Initially received Colossal crab cakes as a gift and they. were excellent. Mostly large chunks like the pictures. First reorder went with smaller versions but they were mostly shredded crab in filler. Ordered Colossal - same as smaller… mostly filler and shreds. Was any really from Maryland? I received an order of 8 crab cakes as a gift via FedEx. The dry ice was exhausted by the time they arrived but the product was still frozen. I baked them per the instructions and found they contained a lot of filler and crab meat shreds and very little lump meat. The flavor was not there due to lack of seasoning. I told my friend I appreciated the thought but buy the next gift elsewhere.

I order seafood sampler. My first order, catalog look so inviting. My first sample clam chowder, it was like eating a water ed down potato soup, hard to find clams. Broth was milk and water. Will not purchase again.Chesapeake Bay Crab Cakes & More Response

I placed an order yesterday with this company. I received a total, and an order number. Today, I was called by those involved in placing my order and was told they would not honor the total I was given due to their error. The company had under priced the idems I ordered by less than $10.00 . I was told to get my order sent I would need to pay the extra money. It was accepted however it was not acceptable. You are a seafood speciality place and the crab you have is freezer burnt. I should have been given 100% back and I shouldn't have had to fight so hard to get any refund. It was a true disappointment. I ordered from this company based on how the food looked in the catalog. I ordered Macaroni and Cheese based on the description. When it arrived I was dismayed to find ******** Macaroni and Cheese. I purchase this product weekly when I do my shopping at *******. I love this product but would never have ordered it from this company. I think the reason is obvious.
