I received billed and paid this company in June and July when the services were received. They rebilled me in December for an invoice that was already paid in June and that was also paid. Then they sent another rebill in December and I reached out to show it was paid. Then they rebilled me 3 more times for bills that were already paid in full and now they will not answer any of emails with payment confirmation. I do not want to have things not paid but they have been paid for these visits already last year.Customer Answer

I called on 1/9/23 and was met with a foreigner on the phone from a call center. I explained that I get Botox injections from another provider and was looking to find another doctor to do my Botox injections. She said she would schedule me a consultation on Friday 9/13/23. She did sound unsure, and I asked her to please not waste my time if they don't do these injections. I drove 45 minutes and filled out a bunch of useless paperwork to be met with a provider that said he doesn't do this but another doctor in the practice could. During the appointment the doctor was dismissive and seemed very uninterested in helping me They didn't want any documents proving my condition, they didn't want anything from the doctor that currently does the injections. All they wanted was my insurance cards, so they get paid even if they do nothing but waste my time and gas. I suppose because they can't get me addicted to pills there is very little incentive to take me on as a patient. They asked multiple times if I wanted medication. Anyhow we set an appointment for 1/25/23 where I'd bring my own Botox and see if he was willing to do the injections in the areas I need. Two days later I get a voicemail letting me know they don't even do these Botox injections. I assumed they cancelled the appointment, since they couldn't do anything during the appointment. But nope they made sure to charge me a missed appointment fee. I tried to call to object to this, only to be met with another foreigner that said billing wasn't answering and he would not transfer me to a manager. He said they would call me back, they won't, it's an attempt to get rid of me. They are in the business of robbing people and insurance companies. The call center employees aid and abet them in their robbery, by acting naive and unknowledgeable. These pain centers need to be closed down, and no pain center should be corporatized, it's obvious where their priorities lie, and it isn't patients. I cannot believe they are trying to charge me after this total runaround waste of time.Initial Complaint

I recently tried making an appointment on Jan 12, 223. ( Having severe pain issues). I was told I could not make an appointment because I had an outstanding balance . I explained to the representative that I did not owe a bill since I had submitted my insurance information. He tried connecting me to Billing but was not able to connect me with anyone. I was told that someone would be contacting me since he had sent the matter as priority. I have as yet to receive a call. I would like to also point out this is not the first time this matter of me owing Clear way Pain Solutions a bill. A few months ago I went onto the patient portal to contact my provider only to discover that I had a bill in the thousands. Never rec,d a bill, only found out by going on the patient portal. I contacted them and someone did contact me on that occasion telling me that because I owed because I was represented by an Attorney regarding an auto accident and the bill not been paid A supervisor was suppose to contact me but never did and months later here we are again No one contacting me about this matter. Again I would like to make a point, there was a lapse in services yes I was treated by them due to an auto accident, but I had stopped being treated. About a year or so later I returned to Clear way suffering from something else unrelated to the auto accident at which time I presented my insurance information to them. Someone dropped the ball here and now they expect me a senior on a monthly fixed income to pay over $18,000 to them.Initial Complaint

Went to Columbia office appointment and turned away we were told we couldn't be seen there at that location Went to appointment at Owings Mills Office and Dr was not there so had to leave and come back 2 hours later Set appointment with one Doctor to talk about a procedure and showed up for the appointment and ended up with some other doctor who had no clue we were coming Never called for 35 days to set up a procedure, went to next appointment they had no clue why we weren't called Set up procedure 3 weeks ago when arrived at Surgical Center they didn't have the materials needed. So asked to leave and come back 3 hours later while they tried to get the materials Waited 15 minutes to even check in, which made it look like we were late for our appointment. While in waiting room a patient with an appointment at 10:45 was told they can't find his appointment when he had an appointment card in hand. He was then asked to come back at 1:30. When booking next appointment we were told by an employee to another employee " You can just double book him". I said "Absolutely not, I have been down that road". Waited 2 hours in Surgery Center before even being seen for a procedure. No explanation to why. On July 19 I was scheduled for a procedure. My blood work had to be completed twice because the first one was not done or ordered correctly. Then 2 hours before surgery I was called to reschedule procedure. Earliest day was August 2 14 days later. August 2 was scheduled for a procedure. I arrived and was triaged for 1hr 30min I had and IV started with Sodium and Antibiotic. After the 1hr 30min I was told thye could not perform the procedure because they did not have to right medicine. They were going to try and fit me in next week. I left the office no procedure was scheduled.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/01) */ Good morning and thank you for giving us an opportunity to respond. First, we want to apologize to Mr. ********* for the gaps in our process that caused his experience to be less than stellar. We are usually very careful to respect our patient's time and are attentive to the details of their individual needs and appointments. In this case we did not meet the expectations of our patient and we are profoundly sorry. We hope Mr. *********, once he has an opportunity to continue to work with the provider he saw last can give us a chance to redeem ourselves. Based on our review of the information, there are no services that were not ultimately provided so no refund or adjustment is due Mr. *********. Thank you for being a Clearway patient and we hope to serve you and meet your expectations in the future if you choose to continue with our services. Enjoy the holiday weekend.
