He was hired by my home warranty company to fix my heat pump on 26DEC22. He showed up at first because a fuse kept blowing, his fix was to remove the fuse from the circuit and nothing else. So he didn't even come close to fixing the problem, he just took away the mechanism that was showing there was an issue. A different fuse in the system then blew 25 minutes later. Came back out two days later and said the heat pack needed replaced. Waited a week for his report to go through and the company to order it. He installed that to get the emergency heat running, but the outside phase was not working. So my house ran off of emergency heat for a month before I realized he never fixed the main issue. He came out again, pulled on wires inside causing a tube fuse to blow which he replaced with a car fuse and electrical tape, not the actual fuse that was needed. Finally went outside and looked at the panel and said he needed to order two new motherboards since the thermostat wasn't talking to the outside unit. Put the order in, ordered the wrong part, and I called home warranty to switch providers. So after three months I have a heat pump that barely works, a fuse inside being held on by tape, and a fuse box in the garage that is suppose to be on the system that he took off.Business response

****BBB Note: Our office spoke with the business and Mr. ****** advised that this issue should be placed with the warranty company. The business advised that the work done was deemed outside of recall by the warranty company. It was also advised that the warranty company asked that any additional work to be done can be done but the business was asked to collect an additional $200.00 deductible (the consumer declined).
