  Dustin's Driveway's resurfaced, widened and lengthened my driveway on August 15. He gave me a 2 year warranty against cracking. After just two months weeds are growing up through the asphalt and it is cracking. I have called the company several times. I left messages with a receptionist and I even called Dustin Jr's personal cell phone and sent photos. He did not answer, call me or text me back. I would like my money back because I do not trust him to repair the driveway properly.

  To whom this may concern, we do apologize for our communication on this warranty issue (hairline crack on edge of driveway) customer called in one time I’m not so sure about her calling my son but would love to get out there and get the driveway up to par again, with that being said we discussed with homeowner  day of install about doing some topsoil on edges/perimeter of driveway because there was a discussion earlier that day about the new asphalt being higher than the lawn which is very common with resurfacing, Driveways. The homeowner understood, but didn’t and tried our best for the better part of 40 minutes to explain the weakest point of a driveway is the edge and I will support them with some topsoil so you don’t have a crumbling or cracking situation in the  future. Should it have cracked that soon no! but I also don’t know what has went on there for the last several months if a delivery service may have driven off the edge or if it was just good old mother nature, but would love to get the driveway back to 100% if homeowner allows us she did refuse to do topsoil that day, (please see attached messages when client called in) which we offered free of charge also offering a two year warranty on the driveway, which usually is not our policy, but I am third generation doing asphalt driveways. I felt very comfortable letting the homeowner know I will look after the driveway for two years, if need be for you to sleep better at night. 100% our fault on the communication and would love to solve this issue so everybody can move on with the upcoming holidays and more.   Good afternoon! OK so the first response I sent to the customer we repeatedly advised her that there needed to be topsoil on either side of the driveway which she refused you can even see where she called in and voiced it on our messaging system that she did not want the topsoil we told her that this would happen because there is no support on the edges so the edges are going to crack I'm not sure how that works and we will do what we can to help her but even if we put the topsoil out there now it's not going to fix the cracking do you advise on what to do next? She still confused why the driveway is cracking when we have explained it multiple multiple times

  I am rejecting this response because:  In my last response I said that I would agree to Dustin's Driveways coming and adding topsoil to try "support" the driveway. In hindsight I don't see how topsoil can effectively "support" asphault. So I withdraw my request to do that. I feel that an asphalt driveway should be able to support itself. The day after Dustin's Driveways "completed" the driveway I called and told them I didn't want to add topsoil because I wanted them to repair the sidewall. The sidewall had some patching but there were some spots where there were holes. Dustin's Driveways had an employee working nextdoor to my house. I asked him, if he could complete the patching, which he did do. It looked much better when he was finished and I was happy with it. Now I would like Dustin's Driveways to repair the crack and fill in the areas that have weeds growing out of the driveway.

  I hired them to replace and widen my asphalt driveway 05/27/2021 and the stones are coming out of the asphalt, it is already starting to get holes. I have called his office and left messages to the person who answered the phone, I have called his cell and left messages numerous times. I have been trying since not long after the job was done. Dustin or no one else has responded back to me. The driveway already looks worst than my old one and I am concerned it will be full of potholes if something not done.
