      On 5-29-21 I purchased a custom couch and loveseat from FURNITURE GALLERY of Prince Frederick. The sales order number was *****. I paid the full amount of $4,664.84 on that day. The contract says the furniture would be delivered approx. 20-24 weeks. The sales associate,  Ms. L********** said that was a conservative estimate and would probably be in before that. November came and went and my husband and I started calling to try to find out information. We were told that it wasn't coming in until January. We asked if we could cancel our contract and were told that we could not per the contract. Jan. and Feb. came and went. Then we were told that we would definitely get it in March. Then we were told that it would be April. I started asking for a manager. After I left many messages with no response I finally reached "Mike", the manager. ( He refused to give me his last name. I was then told we were looking at May of 2022 now. (This would make it 54 weeks rather than the 20-24 weeks originally stated. I told him that we had been repeat customers and that I was frustrated that it was taking so long. I asked if I could get any type of compensation for them having my money for so long and not coming through with any of their delivery dates. Mike stated that there was no way he was going to give me anything because he looked up my choice of fabric and could actually get more now for the furniture if he just placed it in his showroom for sale so he was going to put my money back on my credit card and cancel my order. I unequivocally stated that I did not want to cancel my order because I would have to start all over with a new company almost a year after ordering from them. I said that he wasn't allowed to cancel the order per the contract. He laughed, said, Well see about that, and hung up on me. The store had closed by this point so no answer. Today the money was put back on my card. I called today, 3-11-22 and was told that there was no one to speak to other than Mike.
