Pugh's was contracted for in home care for my paraplegic son for 42 hrs of care split over 7 days. They have frauded the state Medicaid system by not showing up for the hours they promised and then canceled the contract without proper author leaving my son unattended and in danger. Had to call 911 because they gave me no notice. They have caused me so much mental distress I had to be put on nerve medicine. They are rude and very unprofessional. They should not be allowed to run a business if this is how they treat patients with disabilities.i feel all my son's rights have been violated and because of their incompetence my son has to go back to a nursing home. The support planner can verify all the info regarding their contract. Her name is ******************* and her phone number is ,************ x ****

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/08) */ P***s patient care was contracted to provide services for 42 hrs. of care split over 7 days. Our caregiver worked the full time requested. On Sunday our caregiver was unable to enter the home due to the stepmother ******* over sleeping. We then contacted Ms. ******* immediately about this and she started raising her voice and cussing at our staff stating we shouldn't be contacting her on a Sunday " which is apart of the 7 day contract". The end result was her stating she was unable to take care of her stepson and she will be calling 911.We tried our best to work with her on sunday but she wasn't willing to have a conversation. We tried to keep a open line of communication but it wasn't eno***. When our client came home he had no food or furniture in the home. The client was with our agency for 1 week the issue was never with our services it was solely based on communication. Ms ******* spoke with several staff members and we all had the same experience with trying to communicate with her. She was very difficult to deal with. Its Unfortunate that we were unable to resolve this matter but again it was an issue with communication between the agency and the stepmother . We rendered the services requested which was a 7 day contract so of course ******* would be contacted on a Sunday our caregiver wasn't able to enter the property due to her oversleeping. We wish the family much success moving forward. Sorry we were unable to resolve this matter. -P***s Patient Care Services Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/10) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) It is all lies. They made several threats to pull their agent from the field because I voiced my concerns whether they had the staff to cover hours of care needed. They finally did pull their agent without notice telling me that the Medicaid insurance was showing inactive on Sunday morning at 7:50 am and that they were not providing any further service that they possibly would not get paid for. I have messages saved on my phone from Lyndell P*** stating the same. They also did not cover hours they were paid for on June 2nd. Told me they had a mandatory employee MTG in princess Anne and the aid never showed up that morning at 8 am. I arrived at my son's apartment at 9:30 am and bathed and dressed and fed him myself and stayed til 12:30 pm at which time their aid had still not showed up Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2022/06/13) */ Our response remain the same. Have a good day Consumer Response /* (2001, 16, 2022/06/14) */ The complainant has indicated to BBB that the concerns have been resolved.
