I hired Bryan C********, owner of Colindres Construction LLC. On October 15, 2022 to complete the renovation and remodel my kitchen. The contract was agreed upon for $6,000 for labor and I purchase all supplies. I gave Bryan C******** two certified checks, the first check was $2,752 for the purchase of cabinets, the second check was $3,000 to begin the work. On October 15, 2022, we signed the contract and then Bryan begin to work in my kitchen. Bryan worked in my kitchen on October 16th, October 17th. Bryan called on October 18th and said he was sick and would not be coming until October 21st. Bryan came on Oct 21st to finish installing my kitchen floors, but never finished. On Oct 22nd, Bryan hired 2 men to come and install my cabinets. Bryan did not stay to oversee or direct the cabinet installation. I contacted Bryan after the cabinet installation to advise him that 3 of the cabinets were the wrong size. The cabinets were too small for the area and installers had placed several pieces of wood filler in between the cabinets. I did not like the look and was dissatisfied with the 6 inches or more of wood filler. I asked Bryan if he could exchange them for 15 inch wide cabinets instead of the 12 inch cabinet’s that he ordered. On Oct 23, 2022 I called Bryan and asked him when was he coming back and informed him that the men he sent over stole all of the nails that I had purchased for the cabinets and several other items and returned the items back to the store. I also advised Bryan that they had me purchase equipment to complete the work and took it with them when they left. After I complained of my dissatisfaction with the two-week break, my missing supplies, and the wrong cabinets. Bryan said he could not work like this and he would not be returning. Bryan started wiring recess lights in my kitchen, which required him to run a new electrical line in the wall to install power. Somewhere in this process, Bryan burned out an electrical lines in the wall that supplied power to all the electrical sockets in the kitchen. I want my $3,000 back that I paid Byran C********. Bryan did not complete any of the jobs for the money I gave him in advance. He has now cost me an additional $500 for the new contractors, an additional $492.48 for the new cabinets and now I am trying to find a certified electrician to open the wall and install new electrical lines to run to the circuit breaker and who knows how much this big mistake is going to cost me.
