I went into Porcelanosa to purchase an order of tile. I was sold tile with the impression the order was 40% off. There were signs all over the store and when buying I was told all applicable discounts were applied. When I came home and checked my receipt, I was shocked to see that there was no discount applied to the order. I emailed the associates and asked for the discount applied. They refused saying that the order was placed before the sale. The store then sent me an email saying my order was going to be delayed because my original order was damaged. The replacement order was well within the time frame of when they *were* offering the discount. The associates then refused to return my old order and refused to allow me to buy any additional tiles with the discount. I went into the store with my wife and we were shocked by the horrible customer service provided by the associate at the front desk. She said based on "terms and conditions" they wouldn't accept a refund of the packaged tile that had not yet been picked up. She could not produce any "terms and conditions" she was talking about. When I went to the warehouse to get the tile I was then told the order WAS refundable. She basically refused to do her job and lied about us being able to return tile. She also refused to sell us additional tiles in the store with the discount that was clearly being offered to everyone else in the store. This customer service is just unacceptable and clearly deceptive business practices. You don't get to advertise a sale and then refuse based on who is paying. Multiple emails and calls went into this store to try to resolve this prior to writing a formal complaint with the BBB. I have names of all of the people I spoke with at this store.
