Countertop installation done with this company mediated by ******. Company completely unprofessional and did sloppy work. When questioned about quality of work numerous emails went unanswered. From the start I was concerned over the seam which has to be fixed. When they "fixed" it I think they over buffed it or didnt re polish because a good 2-3 inch section on either side of seam is very dull with a ton of fissures and nicks and the seam itself is slightly discolored. Also silicone used is turning yellow. Everytime I attempted to resolve with company they would pick the smallest of my complaints and ignore the larger complaint of the cloudiness of the seam. Over time it's gotten worse and duller. I'm afraid there is no polish or seal left. They sent technician out to clean the yellow silicone twice. Yet refuses to tell me the product that they used that can remove the yellowing. A giant clump of yellow silicone remains in the corner. The stone itself has so many fissures and rough spots to the touch. Not to mention it was cut uneven Round my stove.....narrow to the back and much wider towards front. Most of all it's been the lack of caring in their end. More than a dozen unanswered emails. I also filed against ****** since they contracted them and they flat lied to ****** and told them they never cleaned the silicone and they removed and replaced it which is not true as the techs even told me they could not remove it. But I feel I have over paid for the poor workmanship I received and the poor customer service. I'm also honestly concerned about my countertop holding up. The area in which the seam is present is the most used area and it's only getting worse. It's cloudy and dull and you can physically feel the difference in finish between the area around the seam and the rest. Unfortunately it's very hard to get on photograph but I have done by best. I would like a portion of my money back or I would like it fixed if not bothBusiness response

Ms ****** has already received a $350 check for compensation and signed a waiver stating that she has given up her rights to any future claims after receiving the compensation.

I've been working with them and lowes on a counter top installation. They are the installers first off my price was adjusted on added charges that were not original on my invoice when asked I'm told to reach out to lowes lowes say ask granite MR as they added the charges. secondly my counters are cut uneven have measurements to prove and they are very unorganized still waiting on the countertop fix to fix my kitchen remodel . Would. It recommended them to my worst enemy for instal. It's there mess up and between them and lowes no one wants to handle the situation in a timely mannerInitial Complaint

I purchased a granite countertop from Granite MR. These are quite expensive and require meticulous care when installed. After the installation, I noticed some marks on the countertop and notified Granite MR and spoke with the office manager. The owner came and looked at the countertop and said, that he would have it repolished after other work in the kitchen had been completed. When the technician finally came it was much earlier than the appointed time which means I had to clear the area immediately. This is important because I had not wiped the counter after breakfast. The technician proceeded to do his assigned task, which I thought was to clean first and then polish the countertop. He finished quickly and when I checked the work I noticed the area in question had not been completed satisfactorily. He came back into the house and looked at it and remarked that the area looked as though the clamps used to hold the countertop in place had made those marks. He looked at it, took photos to send to the office and no one called me back regarding this. When I called the office manager tried to transfer the blame to other contractors when the area that I thought they had damaged was actually a part of the characteristics of the natural stone as was indicated when the owner was out to look at the work. But the other area was absolutely not natural and it can be clearly seen that something was pressed into the surface very tightly. This is in alignment with what the technician had indicated when he was there to clean and polish the stone. I called and spoke with the office manager and she proceeded to brush it off as not their problem. This is extremely poor customer service. They were supposed to send out another person but a week has passed and I have not heard anything from them. Therefore, I need to file a complaint to have this resolved.
