On Friday August 12, 2022 at 2:30p.m. while laying in my hospital bed in Rm.4129 at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center watching tv. I received a incoming call from my former co-worker Ms. Meg ***** who was calling to check up on me to see how I was doing. Prior to me letting her know on Thursday night that I caught COVID again. While I was on my cellphone talking to my former co-worker Ms. Meg ***** exactly at 2:38p.m. nurse Jason ********* walked into my room throwing my medication bag on my bed and slamming down my discharge papers he started yelling at me. Nurse Jason ********* was yelling at me that I'm being discharged. I asked Nurse Jason ********* not to talk to me like that and he walked over to my bed and started attacking me. While I was on the phone with my former co-worker Ms. Meg ***** Nurse Jason ********* started man handling me by choking me and grabbing on my arm. When I tried to record nurse Jason ********* attacking me nurse Jason ********* grab my phone. Ms. Meg ***** was still on the phone when she heard nurse Jason ********* talking to me aggressively and assaulting me. I was yelling and screaming for nurse Jason ********* to stop choking me and to get off of me. After nurse Jason ********* got finish assaulting he walked out of my room into the hallway and to take off his COVID protection gear. I walked out into the hallway and was yelling at nurse Jason ********* how he just assaulted me while all the other nurses, doctors, and the housekeeper Joshua ** stood there in shock. I was shaking and in disbelief that I was attacked by a nurse. I asked the nurse's and other staff's to call for Security. Two African Americans MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center Security Officer's came into my room to ask me what just happened to me and I told them that was attacked by my nurse Jason ********** Nurse: Jason ****** ********* Age 30 DOB: Apr 28, 1992Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/08/30) */ *see attached* Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2022/08/31) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) There seems to be a discrepacy because the letter that I received from MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is saying something totally different from what the response letter that was sent over to the Better Business Bureau from MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. Also I would like to mention that I received a incoming call on 8/15/2022 from Mr. Larry ***** at 3:58p.m. from ph#XXX-XXX-XXXX of MedStar Health had a conference call with Mr. Stuart ** ******* MD, FACP, President of MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. I was informed they will notified me after they complete their investigation. Business Response /* (1000, 15, 2022/09/07) */ **See attached** Consumer Response /* (3000, 17, 2022/09/13) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This is totally unacceptable. There is no way a nurse should be allowed to put their hands on a patient by choking them. For MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center to allow this to happen to me says a lot about this company. I will continue to stand up against MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. At the end of the day the God that I serve will deal with Nurse Jason ********* and MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. I'm putting this all in God hands.
