I placed an online order at Wendy's In salisbury in front of Walmart on 4/28/24. When I got there the drive thru line was backed up to the outside of the parking lot so I went back on the wendys app and canceled my order and then re-ordered it for lobby pick-up however when I got to the door an employee informed me the lobby was closed and I had to pick it up from the drive thru. When I got home I saw on my bank app that they had charged me for both orders even though the original was canceled. I immediately contacted the wendys online support and they acknowledged they saw where i canceled the first order yet still charged for it and they said somebody from the management team at that store would contact me that day. I was not contacted by anyone so reached out another online agent the next and told the same thing. I was still not contacted so thurday I called and was told they'd escalate it to the district manager. After contacting support again on Saturday 5/4/24 the district manager finally called and emailed me. He informed me on the phone the only way he could give me a refund was using gift cards he would mail to me cause they couldn't refund digitally to my card and said I could not go to the store and have a manager return my money in cash for some reason. He said he would give me double the amount I was overcharged for the inconvenience which would amount to $48.46. A week or so goes by and I still hadn't received the cards. I texted the district manager Phillip ******* last Monday 5/13/24 and asked if he had mailed the gift cards to which he only replied "yes." I waited a few more days and called wendys support yet again and was told "there is nothing we can do but call him and email him" I feel Mr. *******/wendys have no intention of giving me my moneyInitial Complaint

My wife and I usually don't visit this location, but we were in Maryland picking up a car. We ordered what we usually get at another location and the order was all wrong. I do have a receipt. order was Sour cream and chive potato that was cold and hard. 2-6 piece nuggets that were cold. 2-lg chilis that were fine. I wanted to of the smallest plain burgers with onion and come to find out she rang up a single for $5.09 and a combo for $8.49. I tried to explain it to her but she didn't want to listen. even though she rang up single and the single combo I still got the small hamburgers that were maybe four bites. The food besides the chili was terrible and cold. The bill came to $30.88 that is crazy. This isn't a steak house and any Burger there isn't worth $5. We have specialty burger places in the area like five guys now that's where your going to pay that for a burger. I will never go back so I don't want coupons full cash refund!!
