We were to find a new puppy for our home and came across the website Pleasantsdaneshome.com. Found a dog. And began contact with the owner. On December 27,2021, we sent payment for the dog that included shipping and the cost of the dog which was $750 through *****. Per the Pleasant danes website, we were to expect our dog either same day or next. Upon the dog supposedly getting to the airport, we were sent an email by the supposed shipping company stating that the puppy needed a certain kennel for transportation and us (the buyers) needed to send an additional $1200 that would be reimbursed when we recieved the dog. We got into contact with the sellers and informed them as we were told our initial cost of $750 covered everything. They supposedly contacted the company which is called Petprime Express. The sellers then stated that we could split the cost and we would be reimbursed again at the end of it. As the dog would not be shipped without it. So, we sent the sellers an additional $640. This happened on 12/28/21. As of 1130 Am on 12/28/21, we recieved another email from ******** ******* stating we had to pay another $850 to cover pet insurance. Which was already the claim with the shipping kennel fee. We have since told Pleasant Danes that we expected a full refund as was stated in our contract. Their only response was that they would send it. I also sent them a request for payment in the amount of $1390 through *****. The supposed shipping company also has not answered their phone since all of this started and it sounds like the same gentleman at both companies. Funds HAVE NOT been refunded.
