In July 2020, my siblings and I contracted with LifeMatters to provide caregivers for our father while he was in an assisted living facility. At that time, we made an initial deposit of $9,744.00. LifeMatters provided caregivers until our father passed away in January 2022. LifeMatters sent their last bill to us in February 2022 for $7,135.89. This bill was not paid by us because the initial deposit covered the amount owed. Since February, we have tried unsuccessfully to get the balance of $2,608.11 refunded. LifeMatters has acknowledged in an email that they owe us a refund, and have told us in other emails that they are working on getting us our refund, but we have yet to receive the refund. LifeMatters seems to be going through a restructuring with another company called The ***. I'm told this may be delaying the refund process.
