      Company has completely refused to issue a t tag after t tag that expired on 11/7/22 ..car was sold to us with a altered emissions control module..Module had to be replaced to pass DMV...*********** has stated that they don't know it passed Maryland inspection with and altered ECM..car was purchased on August 8th...it had to be run thru DMV 6 times before it passed with new ECM ...car could not be driven because it was at winner ford, waiting on parts and re programmed with ne ECM..so, t tag expired...texted Laura before tag expired, no response, contacted Steve, no response,, Rebecca told us t tag was in mail being fed exed ...4 days later, no tag...Called Maryland DMV, ,,title department,,..gave them old t tag information, when we were told no t tag has been renewed on this vehicle, filled a complaint on dealership with DMV, ..at wich time they asked if I filed a complaint with BBB...called times to dealership, each time was hung up on...when asked if I was going to receive t tag, they said I don't know ,are you...this car is a 19 year old boys car. He is now paying on a car he can not drive...car is a 2016 ford focus st...so after a month of dealing with ECM, I guess dealership is done because car costed them some money in repairs, we still have no t tag, no tag from Delaware DMV.....we live in Delaware..

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/11/21) */ We had to wait on the Mr. ****** to provide the Delaware inspection before we could request his tags. We covered the cost of the repair that he had to perform. We use multiple local inspection stations to perform the Maryland State Inspection as we don't have State Inspectors or mechanics that work for us. We have submitted the information through the tag and title service in Delaware and they are telling us that the current turn around time is 60-90 days. We will call as soon as we have the tags in hand. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/11/22) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The tag and title work are not the issue, the issue is there has been no new temporary tag re issued...the car Sat waiting for repairs that shouldn't have even existed.its against federal laws to sell a car with emissions bypased..as stated. What's the excuse for not issuing a new t tag..car can not be driven without one

      I traded in a vehicle and purchased another on 6/06/22. After the purchase I drove approximately 1 hour to Alexandria, VA and upon arriving I parked in an underground garage. When turning off the car the lights flickered oddly. I attempted to turn the car back on (I noticed the missing piece on my driver side which had flown off). I tried 3 times before calling Bernard who was helpful and called in a tow truck and they towed to ************** of Alexandria. On 6/8/22 I heard from ******** that the starter needed to be replaced. I then spoke with Bernard, I expressed that I would like to cancel the sale and be refunded in full or be refunded my down payment and given my trade in back. He spoke with an owner who was not willing to do anything to help. Bernard stated from the beginning he would cover the expenses and he did. I picked up the car that evening. The next day my horn did not work (after vacation and family matters), I reached out to Car Corp. to get this fixed, after about 4 calls I received help and had to take the vehicle to another shop in Maryland on 7/18/22. On 7/4/22 the trunk lifts gave out, thankfully I did not get hurt, I since fixed those and front end pieces. Over the past 3 weeks I've constantly called and left voicemails regarding my tag/registration transfer since communicating with them has been hard and my temp tags expire 8/5/22. Today I finally got a hold of the tag rep. who said the delay was due to her being out of the office and the MVA. I expressed that unfortunately although she was out Car Corp. should've communicated and updated me. She became irritated, emotionally unstable and hung up the call. I called back and spoke with Steve who blamed their lack of service on the same, did not seem to care at how poor their service has been but stated they would overnight another temp tag. At this point I hope to receive the new temp tags in time and I would also like Car Corp to take this vehicle back and provide me with a full refund.

      Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/08/04) */ The tags finally arrived and we sent out to be delivered today. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/08/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Although my tags finally arrived, I do not accept this response from the business. The response should have at least included an apology for all of the horrible service I have been given. Had this business worked with my request on day 2 of having this vehicle I would never be here. My request was for them to retrieve the broken down vehicle and provide me with a refund and my trade in back. Unfortunately, I had spoken to Brenard who did everything he could in speaking with Steve and the other owner but their response was a flat out no. I have had nothing but issues after 30mins of having this vehicle, this has impacted my daily living and business. How? I was left without a vehicle for 2 days, I've had to order pieces and get them installed, I've had to drive an hour to get the horn fixed, I've had to close my business multiple times just to call Car Corp over a dozen times along with calling the MVA and FexdEx, I have encountered anxiety and stress. I expect this business to not only apologize and do better but also to provide me with a full refund of my down payment of $9,525.28 along with with my trade in value of $6,000 totaling $15,525 since I am no longer able to retrieve my trade in vehicle and will not be left without a vehicle or forced to purchase another from this business.
